That's cool you think that. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
A few points:
1). Da bears played on the same field and in the same weather the Saints did and they also had a number of people lose their footing, just like the saints did.
2). Da bears CREATE turnovers, they don't just get lucky like you claim happened. All of Brees's fumbles, along with his interception, were FORCED and were not caused by the weather conditions.
There is a reason why they are number 1 in the NFL at creating turnovers, and luck or weather doesn't have anything to do with it. The players are coached constantly at how to strip the ball (which you can see them do on almost every defensive play), plus their secondary is very good and intercept a lot of passes which is also created by the defensive line puting pressure on the QB.
3). Miami huh? Excellent, that's were Rex Grossman is from! Grossman actually plays much better in warm weather than in shitty conditions.
Oh, and Devin Hester...5 of his 6 TD's this year were on turf fields, domes and/or warm weather. He only returned one TD in Chicago. He's also from Florida.
4). "Rex Grossman is an erratic QB who will have the weight of the world on his shoulders" something Rex Grossman is very used to. If you look back over the season, the games where he had the most pressure (after poor games), he did great (vs. St. Louis, Seattle, and now the Saints. Although his numbers weren't great against the Saints, he didn't turn the ball over, didn't make any big mistakes, and drove da bears down the field for a TD when they needed it the most).
5). "The Bears offense is not so good, while the Colts defense has looked good in the playoffs"
Bears O has struggled at times, but they have also been outstanding. 2nd in the NFL in total points scored, great running game (200 yards against the Saints) and last I checked the colts aren't that great at stopping the run. Colts offense has also struggled at times.
6). "The Colts have the best clutch kicker in the league just in case it ends up being a close one"
Da bears also have a Pro Bowl kicker. I don't know, maybe you heard of him. He kicked a 50 yard gaming winning FG in overtime against Seattle. I dunno, I guess that's pretty good?
With that being said, I'm sure we can go back and forth all we want, but in the end all this talk doesn't matter. We will just have to wait and see for the game.
Anyways, I'm glad the Colts won. I was hoping they'd beat the Patriots and I'm happy for Payton Manning. I'm expecting a close and exciting game. Best of luck to the Colts.
