thre biggest problem is money and time few artist have the money and few investors are willing to put up $100,000 to get a top quality project done, time... it takes about a year to produce record and mix a solid album few artist want to wait that long, also most artist think its about them and not the production, attitudes fuck up alot of people,

sound quality, shit nowdays sucks ass, its all protools, cubase and other digital shit, listen to a cd thats recorded and mixed on a sll4000 it slaps,
bottom line you gotta spend time, set aside your ego, get your money correct, and get lucky

also vision, artist somtimes think they know more than they do,a real producer can take a average artist and make him into a top mc,if given the chance, you dont need five producers to do a project limit it to 1 or two so people and adjust to your sound and not get confused by too many different elements, lil john, nelly ect

mike mosley the man who started the whole mobb music sound is slated to drop 18 records this year, and sam bostic, studio tone, femi, and rick rock are all still alive and well, so 2005 promises to be the year where bay area production is back on the map. both mike mosley and rick rock are doin trax on e-40's new record... That youngsta SHo-Nuff that does the beats for The Team is hot as fuck to me. Does he makes beats for anybody else. Besides him, Rick Rock has been putting it down for many years. I'm feeling Gold Toes too.

theres till good producers around, but they're hidden under the pile of bullshit.the thing with the old shit,is they used old euipment but the shit still slapped, they worked it.now with this new euipment, there "should" be an abundance of good quality music, but even if you give a bullshit producer a good piece of technology, hes still gonna come up with bullshit.....

and Mean Mugg, there out there, check these tracks out.it aint no bay shit, this some stockton shit, stockton producers.even if the beats aint your taste and what not ,you cant deny its quality shit......

from the "Tizzle-Power Moves" album.i made'em into samples.....

The Bay ...

its a commercial thing...folks are spoon fed so much shit and in timely manner dat dey lookin for new an intriguing shit daily...ain't to many folks nostalgic and/or appreciatin da roots of da game...once again dey want something new and it don't have to be improved...Ric Roc is a perfect example he took da bay thang and expanded on it, created somethin new, so new he about 5 years ahead of the game...niggas have to love it first, evolve an ascend, its da laws of nature....

my bra, my niggoor(Troy Sanders) who's hot came back months ago to the bay because he loves it so much, nigga could of stayed where he was at but he came home, da nigga came home to da 1st strips he rode to put in work...da talent is here, i've heard it and seen it...just got ta build on it...!

Tell Us What Ya Think...Need somethn different hit us up...ask 40, B-Legit, Turf, PSD, Mall, Federation, Jump Out Boyz-ATL, Jelly Roll, Kurupt, A2daK, Bilal, J. Valentine, Lay Low, Baily an moe about dis nigga Troy...!
