First of all, FUCK THA POLICE!! ESPECIALLY THE MERCED PD...
We got to the venue at around 7 pm and were into the place at around 7:30, pretty efficient entry, props on not making us wait all that long.
Waited around for about an hour for the show to start but it was all good, the room was just filling up more and people were warming up to the music.... Between 830 and 9 Twamp Nina came on the stage. Pretty good act, a quick 3 songs in there. Then a few other local acts came on.... Tizzl... Hurrikaine J... Killa Valley Kartel (always sick)... and a couple more I can't remember. They were all pretty cool
Then San Quinn and Done Deal came out and it started getting off the hook... Quinn only got to do a few songs, less than I expected, but he did The Hard Way, Shock The Party, it was all pretty sick.
Then was I-Rocc and Hollow Tip, they ripped it up some.... RBL came out next and did the same. When Bluebird came on people went nuts, as expected.
Then.... the nation of thizzlam came on stage... they started playing Welcome 2 Da Bay and Mac Dre made his appearance. Everyone was getting juiced. After he did his Welcome2daBay verse, as the song was fading out (i believe)...
.... all of a sudden all of us peeps in the front on the lower level hear crashing and yelling up and behind us on the VIP deck, and whoever had the Mic started getting pissed, everyone turned... I didn't see the entire scene unfold, but what I saw - One guy picked up a chair and threw it at another group of dudes. Stupid ass move because right after that I saw at least 3-4 bottles hit the guy in the face from the group. His shit was bleeding and all fucked up, and he was still trying to throw chairs, tables, whatever. Security was slow as hell at trying to get it under control, but I guess they finally did (or the guy who got fucked just left like he should've in the first place), and people focused towards the stage again.
Then Mac Dre came out with "CLAP!" and that got everyone pumped again... everyone was having a good time.... we pretty much get all the way through that song. then PIGS... fucking PIGS on the stage. The pig was telling PSD to get off, and get out, and PSD was arguing. Then like 4-5 other cops came in the building and started making everyone leave slowly. It was bullshit, the whole place started chanting "fuck the police..." over and over. Miami was getting up in the pigs face on stage, and I saw that PSD had to pull him away real quick, hahha... good thing probably... Miami had his straight thizz face going the whole night...
Mac Dre disappeared hella quick and I guess everyone realized there was nothing we could do. That was the end of the show.
Overall, Summer Jam was pretty tight. I wished San Quinn had more tracks... not 3.... and I wish I could have seen Mac Dre's full performance, but that's not really their fault. It's the law's fault once again... some bullshit!
Props to Og MS and the rest of the crew that made this possible, everyone had a good time.
