Whoa ! LOL

Shit must really bug you huh...?

Well...I think that Dilla was one of the first to really use the sped up soul sample vocals, along with Ski...

But I think that Just Blaze and Kanye really brought the style into mainstream hip hop and from there, everyone just pretty much borrowed that style...

I don't mind it much...unless its Nick Cannon pitching up a New Edition sample...ughhh...

Shit...some shit is better left untouched IMO.

This is one of the most annoying things in today’s hiphop (besides the fact that most “artists” are straight up homosexual and about as intelligent as No.2 pencil).

I think EDJ created a thread about this chipmunk phenomenon a couple of years back…

I think it's sounds dope sometimes...other times it's the most annoying thing ever. All depends on the song, the vibe of the song, how much they made it faster and whos voice they speed up. I'd say more times than not I don't like it though.

yea shit aint cool....and hmmmm....fuck it....west coast artists would never come up with something like that....lol..
Ummm do you mean inventing or using something like that? Because I have heard quite a few West Coast artist use that kind of sample (Jacka has in a few songs as an example.)

it depends on the usage. when its constant & people are rapping over it, the shit is annoying as fuck. when its subtle and you can actually understand wtf the chipmunk is saying then it may end up being coo...
