Since there are Australian/New Zealand posters on here and may not be aware Strange Music Australia has been officially launched for quite some time now.. reperesenting the official label here in Australia & New Zealand

It is legitamite.. firstly the fact they are making samplers should be enough evidence to support it is linked with Strange Music..

Secondly, Lui (the founder of Unda K9 Records based in Sydney, Australia) was responsible for the concerts held in Australia late last year on the Sickology 101 tour.. going back even further she had FiggKidd on her label and setup the recording of "I Gotta Know" at the Paramount Studios in L.A. with Tech N9ne..

I don't believe Australia will get exclusives as such but the likelihood of them touring here more often should be a certainty.. albums should become available in stores nationwide.. by the end of the year they are going to start looking at local artists which I would assume would be signed under the banner of Strange Music Australia.. which was discussed below:

OR, they are making different samplers since your shit out there is being released later than US.

I won't believe that its official until its announced by official people.

The conclusion I came to is the samplers would have the dates changed on the slip cover to coincide with the releases here.. and omit any of the audio that may pertain to incorrect US date releases tagged on the tracks that are not relevant here.. also classification labels maybe added..

All I can tell you is it is 100% official since I have firsthand seen the ties between Lui and Strange Music and also assisted with ticket sales and doing street team work for the tour here through her.. I doubt Travis or Tech will pop up on here to post the validity about it but you never know.. the whole point of this new branch on Strange Music is to spread sales to an international market, that being Australia and New Zealand.. no one that isn't working through Strange would spend out of there pocket to knock up samplers (which we know isn't the fact since Tech already posted proof that Strange Music is pressing them up via the Things To Do list) or go to the effort of trying to organise both street teaming and distribution of albums here for a label that isn't theres..

They posted the validity of Strange Music West. And just because Lui was a booker for Strange Music for their tour out there also doesn't mean anything. Thats like the guy in my state that books Strange shows here making a facebook saying that he runs Strange Music East. And who are you to say its 100% official? Again, I'm not debunking it, I'm just saying that I'll believe it when it is said its official.

Perhaps because the stores you've seen them in have "imported" them, whereas this will be full-blown distribution over your way.

this is interesting ive been speaking to peeps for a while on SM about all this.. be good to start gettin some samplers and pushing it out..im sure after a short while the AUS promo will be up to date (samplers) with the USA shyt..
