I would keep the job you have for the time being. California's unemployment rate hit 7.7% in August, and it's only going to get worse. I got laid off in April, and I haven't even been able to land anything through temp agencies. I have the experience, too. It's just not the right time to be picky, 'cause there's a ton of cats out there who don't have jobs that need one, but can't find one.

if your getting interviews just take a sick day or something. if you really wanted a new job you would at least try to go to the interviews if your getting calls. You must be scared they are gonna fire you or something.

Everytime i start looking for a new job I start closing real big deals at my current gig making me want to stay. I just don't like the hours of my job and the serious strees of being in a sales type position. I still want out though. I would be sitting fat if I got a normal 9-5 with the benifits i'm getting from the MGIB while I go to school.

yeah the job market is all bad...i went to a temp agency cause i havent been having any luck on my own but they were like look mama, you got a job and your arent immediately available so pretty much its gonna be extra harder for us to get u something because we specialize in unemployed persons who can start today if we ask them...now isnt the time to be switching jobs and what not...but we will see what we can do....

no i dont want to work in the banking industry! fuck no! never again!

and i know its gonna be hard regardless...shit right now is just a bad time for everything, and i'm pretty smart, im a good worker, i always want to do my best....
only reason why im not just like fuck you guys is cause i care about how i look to my current employers...i dont want to make myself look like a lowlife who doesnt give a shit about their job, and trust me a few of my coworkers try to get brave with their asses and trust me its not fun being on their shit list....i get away with a lot of shit at my job cause im like the best thing they got their (not trynna sound to conceited but its the truth) only thing they aint trynna hear is me cutting out early or not showing up at all without pre warning them.....but i really really dislike my job in general...i hate the whole "sales sales sales!" mentality, i hate worrying about meeting our weekly goals...i hate asshole people and having to deal with their ass...i hate my supervisor (even though she loves me to death)

im just gonna have to stick it out til i find a way out somehow
