I have seen several people on this board talk about our "BIG RECORD DEAL" I want to clarify this; Strange Music recently signed a "Distribution Deal" not a "record deal".
.
Thanks for the update!

Could one of you industry savants on the board explain to me exactly what a "distribution deal" is? Does it just mean that Fontana has an agreement with retailers to sell Fontana records?

What exactly is the benefit of having a big distribution deal like this? Does it just mean the record will have a wider network of retailers carrying the albums?

mayne...it sounds like tech and strange music will be making a lot of money off of this album as long as it sells high. also, by cutting out the middle man, less bullshit to deal with and more money for them...right now...the independent route is the best way to go for sales less than a million or half a mill for that matter. just look at lil flips first album...all independent...and he was made a millionaire after that album went gold.
