in da 80's before the immigration rate was as high as it is now san leandro and hayward was mostly white.Union City is being flooded with blacks and mexicans at about the same rate as they did hayward in the 90's.But in the 80's hayward was mostly white.In the next 10 years ppl wont believe union city used 2 be all white.
It's not automatic like people think.
The record company that released the project has to purchase the plaques, they aren't just automatically handed out by the RIAA once a release is certified. Just because you were involved with a project doesn't necessarily mean you get a plaque, although in Spice's case as a performer, I'm sure he got plaques for all certified releases he was a performer on.

Shit homey Union City was never "all white"....Ever heard of Little Mexico? Horner st. Boomer st? Watkins? Vallejo? What about the green haven apartments? Didnt see much white folk there....Im from the west side Une and never seen an all white area, we were and still are diverse. U had ur little section where u would see white people, asians, mexicans, etc. but never, and i repeat never all white.....Wanna go back to the past? Union City's history? It was a china town until the "whites" burned that shit down....Anyway to say Union City was almost all white b4 is a false statement. Never seen an all white neighborhood in Hayward either.
