Today we had a forum at the Malcolm X library. over 3 million dollars was released by the San Diego Workforce Partnership and South East was ignored. The decision was made by the Workfroce Investment Board and Youth Council. Tony Young our councilman was a part of the decision last year and Southeast received money. This year he did not participate for whatever reason and the council people who participated received the money for their community. I don't work anymore but one of my youth from last year who received an internship was interviewed. A year later he is making $20 an hour with full benefits. He is a solar inspector. He will be on the Channel 10 news at 5:30PM. Call Tony Young, have your parents call Tony Young. Our kids need jobs! Jobs not Jail. Watch the news today Channel 10 at 5:30PM!

We trained young people in solar last year. Young people who represented: Lincoln Park, Skyline, West Coast, Logan, Market.
ITS NOT ABOUT WHAT ORGANIZATION THAT GETS THE MONEY IT'S ABOUT WHERE THE MONEY GOES!

Our kids are harder to work with. They got the money using statistics, there called PUMAS, for the most impoverished areas. So they received the money based on our community. This year they used that money but gave it to other kids. So you get the money based on our community but when you get it you use it on another community. The fight is not over though. We are going to the churches, businesses, etc to do our own Hire A Youth. We don't want any money. Don't pay an organization just get these kids off of the streets and help them get jobs.
