From the way I understand it, it went from the Broncos had no interest in trading Cutler and just pick up the phone to McDaniels saying well Cassell is my guy and If it was a change for me to get him I was going to look into it. I would be piss to if I was Jay Cutler, Cutler suppose to be the future and he getting treated like he's some backup right tackle or something and he's the starting QB! And as far as the Broncos not doing good lately, it is NOT because of the offensive passing game. But I dont live in Denver, and this is an outside perspective, but it dont look good on either side.
exactly...

All I know is that everybody in the AFC West is going to sweep Denver next season. No team chemistry at all now.
Right now there is distractions for the team.....
but even If they trade cutler they will get something really good in return so they can still be aight

Lions bypassing Stafford for Cutler?

Aaron Curry could probably be a tremendous middle linebacker and I'm sure the Detroit Lions are going to let everyone know that as the draft approaches, but I'm more and more convinced that the Lions are going to draft a left tackle. It's going to be Baylor's Jason Smith or Virginia's Eugene Monroe and the selection between those two will most likely be based on the contract negotiations leading up to the draft. There are several reasons why I think it's going to be a left tackle: I just don't believe the Lions are sold on Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford. Yeah, he's probably going to have an awesome pro day workout on Thursday but I'm not sure that's going answer some of the inconsistency questions that keep popping up on his college tape. The Lions know they need to upgrade the quarterback position and that's why I think they're going to be in the ear of the Broncos for a possible trade with Jay Cutler.

Then maybe you need to imform us.

The way i understand is, Matt Cassell was on the market and Denver entertained bringing him in as the starter
. Cutler was DRAFTED to be the future of that team and Cassell had ONE good year. Now, wouldnt YOU be pissed if you were Cutler? I mean, the Broncos organization are basically saying "fuck you, we want someone else"....when Cutler hasnt had but a few years with a TERRIBLE defense and limitied offensive weapons.
I have already said but will say again.

Denver only entertained offers AFTER GETTING CALLED!!!! AFTER JAY SAID TRADE ME THE FIRST TIME!!!

Any good orginization will field offers to see how they can improve. Sure Cassell only had 1 good year but it was a good year under this coaches system so he knows what the qb brings, not like it would be an unkown commodity.

Also again any good orginization will feild offers. if players on your team are untouchable you are essentially saying your team is fine as is....IT'S NOT! Why would denver not see what was offered to possibly take a qb that is perfect for the new system at the same time getting some draft picks to help improve the defense???? IT WAS ONLY CALLS INTO DENVER NOT OUT!!!!

There are very few players in the NFL i would deem untradeable, and thats the likes of Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Adrain Peterson, Andre Johnson......Cutler is not in that class! He has shown himself to be nothing but a loudmouth sore loser who cant handle not having his way.

no one including yourself can prove that...

ethier way its a fucked up situation and the broncos management is handeling it in a fucked up manner...

and your coach is allready proved to be a liar and i wouldnt like it ethier....if you think all the blame falls on cutler then thats your own problem....both sides put something into the pot no doubt

When did Cutler say "trade me" and why?

In bold is the most important factor in all this, and that is the point.

Dude, youre team is not "fine as is" becuase Cutler has NO FUCKING HELP...on offense OR defense. The problem isnt Cutler, its his support CAST...or LACK THERE of. If you think going from Cutler to Cassell was going to solve all your issues, you are delusional.

Cutler has only been in the league what, 3 years? Of course he isnt Peyton...no one has said such. However, he is a good QB and getting to the playoffs has NOT been his entire burden. Youre defense was fuckin ATROCIOUS last year, among other factors. Imagine if you had Flacco on the same Bronco team...do you think HE woudl have lead them to the same point Baltimore got to?

The fact remains, Denver was trying to fill a spot that did NOT need filling...so if YOU or any other Bronco fan can NOT see WHY he is mad, then I dont know what to tell you.

first because a new scheme was brought in with McDaniels (before all this shit poped off) and 2nd because the new head coach lied and tried to get him replaced...

other then that very good post....all other fans seem to be taking Jays side other then bronco fans...

cutler has no supporting cast????

if it wasnt for amazing catches and runs after catch by royal and marshall cutlers sats would be shit!!!! All he does is throw it up for marshall, or a quick slant to let royal speed his way past defenders.

"I went in there with every intention of solving the issue, being a Bronco, moving forward as a Bronco," Cutler said. "We weren't in there but about 20 minutes, [McDaniels] did most of the talking and as far as I'm concerned, he made it clear he wants his own guy. He admitted he wanted Matt Cassel because he said he has raised him up from the ground as a quarterback. He said he wasn't sorry about it. He made it clear that he could still entertain trading me because, as he put it, he'll do whatever he feels is in the best interest of the organization.

"At the end of the meeting, he wasn't like, 'Jay, I want you as our quarterback, you're our guy.' It felt like the opposite. He basically said that I needed to tell him if we can't work this out, to let him know," Cutler added. "I thought he was antagonizing me and that was disappointing because I was ready to move on, committed as a Bronco. Really, I figured we'd hash things out, shake hands, laugh a little and move forward. What happened [Saturday] was the last thing I expected. If I didn't think it could be fixed, I never would have come back to Denver. It was painfully obvious to me and Bus [Cook, his agent] it's not something they want to fix."

And Jay Cutler is being the baby? Looks like McDaniels is the problem. He probably did put Cutler on the block, just read into what Cutler said about their meeting. I'd want out too! That's not the way you treat your franchise qb. The head coach gets fired, offensive coordinator gets replaced, and now all of a sudden you're on the trading block? I'd want out too!

hmmm... you REALLY beleive this?

I think Denver fans are trying to talk themselves into the fact that they don't want Cutler because they realize he may be gone

but scary... honestly tell me this... do you think your team will be better off if Cutler is traded?

and if so... what QB is gonna replace him?

That means he's still on the trading block if McDaniels is still entertaining offers!

Youre citing Marshall and a rookie who faded in the second half of the season...as "help"? who was youre running back? I think people fail to realize that without a runing game, or Peyton Manning, you REALLY stunt your offense, becuase teams KNOW youre going to throw. Example: Seahawks in 2007.

And you still have not mentioned youre horrible defense, which ALLOWS points to get in the board and MAKES the Broncos play catchup all game...which is HARD to do without PASSING the ball.

Look, we can argue all day long about he was right, but the fact remains, BOTH parties were in the wrong. But you are failing to put your feet in Cutler's shows and see WHY is acting "like a crybaby". Imagine youre job did that to you. I mean, mayube you ARE expednable at your job, which most people are lets be honest, but if you put in a body of work and they put the future of the company in YOUR hands...and then turn around and basicaly HIRED someone else to take your place...youre gonna sit here and tell me you wouldnt feel like shit? Like you are worthless and that they dont give a SHIT about you?

Yeah defense was poor but at same time cutler mistajkes pout defense in bad position, also our running game was fine up until injuries.

Cutler has been a whining cry baby way before this past 2 weeks, so I don't know why yo uwant to just mention this past 2 weeks
