As soon as the Patriots let it be known that Cassell was available, McDaniels and the Broncos put Cutler on the trading block. It was more than just "listening" for offers. They were trying to deal Cutler. I wouldn't trust McDaniels either.... good news for us Raider fans.

The way i understand is, Matt Cassell was on the market and Denver entertained bringing him in as the starter. Cutler was DRAFTED to be the future of that team and Cassell had ONE good year. Now, wouldnt YOU be pissed if you were Cutler? I mean, the Broncos organization are basically saying "fuck you, we want someone else"....when Cutler hasnt had but a few years with a TERRIBLE defense and limitied offensive weapons.

football is a business. cutler is a bitch for taking it personal. i could understand some hurt feelings at first, but what about proving they were wrong for trying to trade you. i wouldnt want a qb leading my team with those type of character flaws, but i'm not an NFL coach or player.

From the way I understand it, it went from the Broncos had no interest in trading Cutler and just pick up the phone to McDaniels saying well Cassell is my guy and If it was a change for me to get him I was going to look into it. I would be piss to if I was Jay Cutler, Cutler suppose to be the future and he getting treated like he's some backup right tackle or something and he's the starting QB! And as far as the Broncos not doing good lately, it is NOT because of the offensive passing game. But I dont live in Denver, and this is an outside perspective, but it dont look good on either side.
