I just got back from the Strange Music office today because I had to pick up a shitload more of them Hostile Takeover cd AND the NEW Tech N9ne/Project
eadman cd samplers because I'm heading up north this coming Saturday to visit family again and spread the word,fliers,posters and samplers of Strange Music all over the BAY AREA!! To the people who are doing street teaming aswell, you will be recieving your shit either this week or next week...the new sampler's fuckin tight, especially the Projecteadman tracks....after hearing them, fuck... I feel the same way I felt when I just got into the GREAT songs that Mike E. Clark made for ICP and Twiztid, that MADE ME A JUGGALO...and yes, the track with The Dayton Family is the shit....Shoestrings rips it up like a motherfucka!!
-Anyways, yeah, I go to the office and I was suppose to just get the shit and go, but Tech, Kaliko and Trav are at a meeting with Bootsie Collins' peoples, watching some old Bootsie cartoons with the characters talking about bitches and ho's and all types of funny-ass, interesting shit. So I just kick it with Mi Mi for a while...lol, she told me that someone who goes to this board told her about me posting a pic of her, lol, so I gave her some Sour Patch kids that Tech later on bummed off her....man... do you people on the eastcoast have The 99 Cents Store?? if ya'll don't, you're missing a bomb-ass grocery store... them EXPENSIVE-ASS SOUR PATCH KIDS at movie theatres are like $3.75 EACH... I got like 2 fuckin packs for ONLY 99 CENTS... lol... anyways..
Yeah, they finish their meeting, Tech says wassup and says how the messageboard is fuckin crazy. I chilled with him and Kaliko for a while while Travis goes and does something. Tech showed me a bunch of kick-ass pics that this dude across the street took of him over at the building across from the office for the Everrready album and for Michampin to picture Tech singing "Biancas and Beatrices" to him to!! (LOL!, just fuckin with ya Mich!!)..but yeah, the pics look bomb as fuck. Tech also showed me his EVERREADY lyrics book that had NOTHING on it!! WELL... just a page that had ONE chorus to a song called "Jellycicle" (Jealous Cycle), AND the shit with Eminem and Brotha Lynch is I believe done...so, ok, I'll shut up FOR NOW...

umm, yeah...oh yeah.. I forgot... KALIKO ISN'T BALD, that mofo had on BRAIDS... so Imamazon.. damn you, you said he was bald!!! But yeah, Kaliko played some of Kutt Kalhouns "BLEVE" album... damn... it IS way tighter than I expected!!! There's this one song tha has a setting of a courtroom with I believe Kaliko singing the chorus and Kutt raps on the first part, then when the Judge says something like:"Do you have a witness?" or some shit, I forgot.... out of nowhere, in like a recorded voice, I hear 2 PAC rapping...so I was told Kaliko:"What the hell? is that really Pac???" and he just kept smiling and chuckled a little.. so I stand confused, but then.. Kutt CAN sound a little bit like Pac...I dunno, I'm still confused....crazy cause it being Pac's birthday too.
The office had just about ALL of the rest of the platinum plaques up on the walls and I it was cool to see the WWF AGGRESSION gold plaque....damn it was interestingly cool seeing Talin's (Sr. Vice President of Productions & Operations for MSC) name on alot of the plaques. Kaliko wanted to know from me and Javier who he'd sound good doing tracks with...
so I ASK YA'll... who do YA'll think KALIKO SHOULD DO SOME PROJECTS WITH???
Kaliko himself wants to do shit with Lauryn Hill and Missy Elliot just to name a few.
Tech was asking me :"Dude, how the fuck did you get a pic of Sid The Clown from House Of 1,000 Corpses to Hold up a cd sampler!?!? " or something like that and said that he wants Sid to be on a future music video and other projects. Damn, I also did not know that Tech was suppose to do a REMIX of "It's ALIVE" with ROB ZOMBIE back in 98'!!!
I took some pics of Tech's lyrics book and other stuff, I wanna try to get the OK to post them on the board.
