Mayweather had his style disrupted by a quick and highly physical style brought by Hatton. There was at least one time where Mayweather looked hurt/stunned.

It took him 5 rounds to figure out how to counter Hatton's constant pressure, but Mayweather definitely figured it out.

PBF showed me something extra last night. When faced with effective opposition, he adapted and overcame. He showed that he is a champion who is currently unparalleled in skill, speed, and intelligence.

For real, I was impressed. You can see why Hatton was 43-0. His style is difficult as fuck to counter, but Floyd did it last night. He looked great.

On my scorecard I had Hatton winning 4 rounds (although there was a point deduction on one of those so it ended up a 9-9 round). Much closer than the official judges had it scored.

I'm going to watch this fight again today, I was pretty drunk last night. I remember early on Floyd looked like he was hurt, cant remember which round(s).

Like 2nd or 3rd round.

Yeah, what was up with the judges???!!!

Those scores were downright disrespectful! With those scores, they practically said they didn't see that as boxing. I mean, didn't they have Floyd as 7 or 8 points ahead?

Yeah, they had it 8-1 and 7-2 I believe. I was pretty much in agreement with Lederman's card and had it closer than that. Hatton was fucked from the start.

Our whole household pretty much had it the same as Lederman.

Between rounds we'd mute the tv and ask "Whose round was that?".

I just didn't get the judges' scorecards at all.

I'd like to see him fight cotto or paul williams, but until williams gets some more big fights under his belt I doubt he'd get the oppurtunity to fight mayweather anytime soon.

What do you mean? I think Cotto is probably one of the very few guys out there right now that could be a big PPV. Definitely more so than Paul Williams, Cintron or Margarito. The only other person I can see bringing in that much money is Shane Mosley, but he lost to Cotto so that doesn't make much sense.

Actually, I'm quite sure of it - Cotto is the only big payday left for Mayweather (at the time being).

I could see Mayweather going after Manny Pacqiaou, that'd be a bigger payday than Cotto.

Still Miguel Cotto has definately earned his shot at the King of the Welters.

IMO Cotto still needs to prove himself before getting a shot at Pretty Boy Floyd. I thought Zab could have knocked him out in their fight, but a few dirty low blows may have prevented that from happening. The Mosely fight wasn't that great and Shane didn't look as energetic as he was in his younger days. I wouldn't mind seeing Cotto fight Hatton in England, then he'll earn a fight with the champ in my eyes if he beats him that is.

Mayweather was stunned several times, when he would step back and evade, Hatton knew as he lunged and kept feeding him left hooks and Floyd just kept eating 'em. I agree with Enserio, Hatton's one relentless scrappy fuck and Floyd adjusted to knock him out. It was those same lunging left hooks he tried but Mayweather couldn't back up as he was against the ropes and Hatton got chin checked with the left hook from Mayweather, that shit was cllllllllllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeean!
Those straight rights to the body were vicious, I don't remember what round it was, 7 or 8 where Hatton was definitely hurt from body shots. The acurracy and precision by Mayweather are beauuuuuuutiful.
