Anyone anyone??

Lastnight is why Cutler isn't playing. Sure Plummer makes mistakes, give me a qb who doesn't. But if you think a rookie QB would have came out on national tv on the road against the Patriots and do what Plummer did you are smoking something crazy.

Plummer hit players in stride, made crucial 3rd down conversions, and STILL had to fight off dropped passes but got it done. Latnight showed more of what I have been saying all season so far but noone wants to see it. DROPPED PASSES have hurt Plummer more than anything. He hit Rod Smith a few times and Rod dropped them. AGAIN Scheffler was open and again he dropped a pass. This time Javon didn't drop passes and look we win! Javon didn't drop pass last week..we won.....Javon did drop passes in week 1..we lost. How about the o-line still letting players prance on through.

This offense was making plummer have bad games not Plummer making the offense have a bad game.

So get off the Cutler talk as he is where he needs to be until the end of the season.

Ill agree with you...Plummer showed he wants to keep his starting job...

But just remember...Plummer aint done shit his whole career...he isnt a playoff/SB quaterback....and never will be...THATS why Denver isnt gonna go to a SB anytime soon....

But good luck on your season...the Hawks get to travel to Mile High Dec. 3....should be exciting....

i think plummer should be the starting qb, but if the broncos are winning in damn near shutout situations, they should put in cutler for a series or two, just to get his feet wet.

and nice hit, by the way by d.j. williams...

but damn, that seattle at denver game might be a slobberknocker in mile high stadium. that'll be in my calendar for sure.

I'll still take Cutler easily. He's the future.
I like Jake, i want to see Cutler more though. I was perfectly fine with Jake being the QB, but when they drafted Cutler, it all changed.

Either way, bench or play this year, Cutler will learn and that is fine with me.

Cutler next year....Plummer is an average QB that had one good season(last year)
it depends how far denver goes in playoffs. if denver makes to super bowl, win or lose, plummer will most likely play next year.

also did you see the comparison they put on the game- from last year first 2 games, jake has 4 int last year and ended with 7 the rest of year. jake has 4 int so far this year.

I know that's what I have been trying to stress to people. Everyone says well Plummer aint the big game qb etc. And 1 game all of a sudden he is back to old jake blah blah blah. Well shit Manning aint never been to the superbowl and he has had a hell of alot better cast then Plummer yet Plummer has made it just as far. Hmmm Hassellbeck...hasn't won the bowl. Vick...uhh no explanation needed, Delhomme, no ring yet either, and look at the first 2 weeks with no Smith......Outside of Brady & Elway the past 8-10 years no QB has lived up to the status that everyone tries to make Plummer live up to even though thier own tems qb's haven't did it either.

Unless your team is Patriots and your qb Brady, noone else can say shit about another teams qb not living up to big game status. Sure you can try to throw Big Ben in there but that D deserves more the credit I think. How about Dilfer...no help from the defense either. Tampa Bay..same thing.

The difference is....people actually have FAITH in their non-SB winning QB's....no one trusts Plummer....

Its funny....youre the only that defends that loser....why?

well if you listen to the national media then noone defends him...but alot of Broncos fans do, except the few you get that actually don't watch a game and only go off of stats. They will say yes I watched the game, but attribute the dropped passes or tip balls for int's as Plummers fault.

It's not a matter of defending him, it's a matter of people not knowing what the hell they are talking about. Yes let's put in a rookie to replace a capable qb. It's borderline idiotic to say something like that. You could hurt the kid more than help his career by doing that. Not too mention you would pretty much write off the next year or 2 as teams would be blitzng like maddogs and he would have no time to actually get playing time in the system as he would be on his back or throwing picks more than plummer.

That's all it is.

Wow 2 players out of the whole history of the NFL....In a system that took the great Elway 3 years before he was comfortable, a system that Plummer has had his best years in after 2 & 3 years....but yes lets start a rookie.

Seriously there isn't an arguement to be had here.
