well, personally i'm over my qualms about adblock. i'm using it until we get props back...

but if you don't use firefox/adblock, and you don't like the specific ads you're seeing... you can click the little icon on the top right of the banner; it will take you to AdChoices, and you can click "Visit the Ads Preferences Manager" to edit the "interests and inferred demographics" that google associated with your cookies. you can then remove things that aren't relevant to you, and add categories you would prefer to see ads about. or, you can also opt out completely so that you don't get targeted ads at all & it's totally random.

i still think of it wistfully though, in threads like the kavio one... wishing i could prop so many great posts...

but i've come to terms with the fact that it may never be an option again.
