So as of late...theres been rumors of some of our favorite artists snitching...now i got a question:

Lets say your boy...or someone you were with at the time that you knew and what not...did some shit...it could be whatever crime you wnna pick out....basically a felony that requires doin time...NOW...YOU get mistaken for him...you dont snitch...cus thats your boy...or whatever...but now doesnt somethin like this come to mind:"this dude committed this crime...but im not gonna rat him out...if hes MY boy...why dont he come and confess?"

Think about it...you bein a homie for not snitchin...but aint your homie bein a punk for not takin the wrap???I mean...he DID do it after all...what if you got kids and a family and are one the right track...now youre FUCKED...

I know for a FACT...that if i got caught up in some shit...that I GOT BLAMED FOR...and i let it ride and I DID THE TIME...and this dude never came fourth to claim HIS RESPONSIBILTY....

I just touched base with an extremely close friends yesterday and it has to do with what you just said. He just got off federal parole a couple of months ago and as of last week out on bail for 5 grand theft charges. Dude is probably the most solid dude I know and super down for himself and those who are close to him. Anyway He stashed a bunch of goods in the back of someones house with the dudes permission. dude checked it out a couple days later and told him he has to find somewhere else sometime some to move his stuff. My partner goes over there to get his shit and pigs are in the driveway arresting him and someone else so my friend takes off. Later he finds that on of his associates has formaly been charged for his possessions. Like a responsible man he calls the pigs HQ and tells them let his friend go because that shit is his. Pigs tell him they will only let him go if he tells on someone else too. My friend says fuck you and hangs up the phone. Next morning pigs apprehend him early morning in his house and cuff and stuff him. Other dude was already out on bail by now. My partner stepped up and took the responsibility because the dude who originally got popped for it didnt even know shit about it. My partner is such a stand up dude when he bailed he even went to dude and paid him the amount his bail was. real shit.

I live my life differently than I used to. I've grown up, changed.. but before, when I used to do what I did- I had a very tight circle of folks around me, we all had the same understanding... if youre out handling certain things, you dont bring any Tom, Dick or Harry along for the ride.. because when shit pops off, the last thing you want to have to worry about is the folks that are ridin' with you.

I would never let one of my people take the heat for some shit that was on me, even though I know they would for me without question, it would never go there.. and I would have sacrificed anything, at that point in my life for the folks that I kept around me.. snitchin' has never been an option and never will be.

I have my sons now and they come first.. so my life is different.. I dont put myself in those types of situations... but believe, I'm still the same person at heart.

Im just sayin...i would never let my homie burn for somethin i DID....i had somethin similar happen to what moonpizzle was referrein to...somebody did dirt to a homie...but when the shit went down...and the innocent homie got caught up....the guilty party just let him burn...thats NOT the homie....and he got dealt with...thats a BITCH move in my book...the innocent party never dropped no names and did the 4 years for the "homie"....needless to say the REAL GUILTY party aint around no more....you figure it out....
