I don't want to do a quote by quote analysis of what you said but, what do you consider high risk situations? Wearing provocative clothing and walking alone? Do these instances really trigger rape? I mean do you have real world statistics to back that up? As I said if you look at the statistics, the majority of sexual assault cases involve someone the victim knows personally. A contributing factor is often alcohol. Is it a high risk behavior to drink with someone you know and trust? I don't buy into that bullshit about not being able to control the reproductive impulse. Most rape cases do not occur in public places amongst a crowd of people? Why? Because rapists are able to control that impulse until they are alone with the victim. It's a hella cop out to say otherwise.

Myth: Rape victims provoke the attach by wearing provocative clothing

- A Federal Commission on Crime of Violence Study found that only
4.4% of all reported rapes involved provocative behavior on the part
of the victim. In murder cases 22% involved such behavior (as simple
as a glance).

- Most convicted rapists do not remember what their victims were wearing.

- Victims range in age from days old to those in their nineties,
hardly provocative dressers.
