i don't get why people still jock kimbo like he's some god of fighting. The guy beat up people in backyards who obviously weren't trained, goes into an MMA environment and gets his ass whooped, dude can fight but will not be a competitor in the UFC. Ever.

On the flip-side, I think it'd be cool if some of these MMA dudes who talk shit about Kimbo - would also say that they're down to go baccyard bare-knuccle stand up with him...

Would be interesting, no?

That would be stupid as fuck. First of all this is a sport and it has a bad enough stigma attached to it. Second of all Kimbo would get his ass whooped by every one of those MMA fighters that has said something about him.

You should be happy about this then, this will prove how worthless he is.

You fell into the hype of what Elite XC was pushing... that Kimbo was the greatest fighter of all. He never did that.. he simply fought who they put against him.. he didnt make the fight card. It was all Elite XC that put him as a main event status. alot of people were brawlers before they went to MMA.. even the older UFC had a bunch of brawlers. Last I checked, losing happens to everyone in MMA. and TUF is UFC.... so I think that does make him a competitor in some aspect.

Regardless of how you feel, we all know Dana is tryna/gonna bank on this. If Kimbo bekomes a decent fighter as far as ground work, he'll compete possibly on an undercard. Kimbo has that stigma as a backyard brawler, and the truth is most of the crowd in MMA want to see someone get knocked out and not work the ground game.

Either way, Dana will win. (which I hate Dana). Either kimbo will improve and be a decent fighter or he'll suck Dana will back up everything he said about Kimbo.
