I wouldn't celebrate signing to a label under another muthafucka that doesn't know the game. I remember when MC Eiht signed to Hoo Bangin Records (Mack 10's label), a veteran signing under a rookie. Mack 10 had to sign under Cash Money Records his damn self. People signing under Games' Black Wallstreet umbrella are mistaken if they think it's going to result in any difference in sales. Game is not a businessman, his own damn sales were because of who he was affiliated with, namely JT the Bigga Figga and Dr. Dre. He's still calling out Dre's name on songs like "One Blood" like he was in the studio with him. Clyde Carson would have been better off signing to a label directly instead of tying himself up through BlackWallStreet. He has the talent and the drive to do it. Capitol Records hasn't known what to do with rap music since they had MC Hammer. Ya Boy should have done the same and now you see where he is right ? He aligned himself up with Game and now he's fending for himself once more. He should have signed a deal with a reputable label when he was hot off of "16's Wit Me" and we would have seen an album by now. Rap fans have a short memory, come out with the product while your hype is it it's highest, fans don't have to anticipate YOUR music because there are 5000 rappers as tight as you AND they come out with music on a regular.
