What you need to look at is cost of the phone. How much will you be paying for the phone itself and how much your bill will total out each month. How will you utilize the phone?

Here are some links for each phone with pro's and cons with a video included

SIDEKICK
Sidekick has no bluetooth capabilities, inexpensive compared to TREO 650, one price data plan is $29.99

PALM TREO 650
Date connect ranges from $19.99-$39.99 that's not including your normal rate plan. Also has bluetooth capabilities but cannot not be used a a modem. Majority of these users are business professionals

I hope this info helps you guys decide. good luck

I like the sidekick's real web browsing. We sell the treo 650 and 700w right now ( Verizon Wireless ) and both aren't worth the cash. The treo 650's volume is horribly low, even with a bluetooth headset. Anyhow, best bang for your buck is the SKII. Verizon does have the better network, but it's not worth the huge costs.

I have a Treo 650 and the volume does suck but there is a lot of shiet you can dl for it and if you are in need of a palm it's 2 in 1
It;s a great phone and there is plenty to do with it once you figure it out (which I have yet to)

i never had any experience with a blackberry but bluetooth tech. is where it's at

for those types of phones it goes like this:

1) blackberry
2) SK2
3) treo

sure the treo has a lot of bells and whistles, but like mark said, it has a lot of problems (everyone i've talked to with one complains about constant crashes, rebooting, etc.). the SK2 may not have the most up-to-date features or phone (not the best call quality), but its email/AIM/web browser capabilities and multi-tasking abilities make it a great device overall. get the kick

I'm on T-mobile and if I bought the SK2 I'd probably try Ebay since they wouldn't cut my ass a deal on it, $10 more a month for the data plan it needs to go along with my regular phone plan. I came across the Treo on there too, anybody ever fucked with and "unlocked" phone?
