(THE PSYCHO REALM)
•The Psycho Realm is an American hip hop group started in 1989 by brothers Sick Jacken (Joaquin Gonzalez) and Big Duke (Gustavo Gonzalez) from the Downtown, Pico-Union area of Los Angeles. The first recorded Psycho Realm song, "Scandalous", was released on the soundtrack of the film Mi Vida Loca in 1994. That same year B-Real of the rap group Cypress Hill saw Psycho Realm performing at Olvera Street for an End Barrio Warfare concert. Their performance inspired B-Real to the point that he wanted to join the group. With this time period being the height of Cypress Hill’s career anything Cypress Hill related would get major publicity.
In 1997 Sony released the first Psycho Realm album, labeled as an addition to the Cypress Hill Family by the sticker placed on the CD case. Due to conflicts with the record label the Gonzalez brothers were dropped from Sony as Jacken explains, "the machine was just trying to censor me / Didn't do it for Sony so they ended up releasing me / Independent, no longer locked down for an infinity / So my vicinity stays true to my identity." The brothers then went on to form Sick Symphonies, their own record label, which lacked the big budget for promotion and distribution in chain stores along with group member B-Real, who was stuck on his contract with Sony for Cypress Hill.

•The 23-year-old L.A.-based rapper GAVLYN has been rapping since 2006.
GAVLYN`s music is inspired by Old School, 70s Funk and 60's music. Yet, despite her devotion to Hip Hop, it`s not her only source of music. She`s also fond of Rock, Drum & Bass ,House Music and Jungle Music.
Cit: “It`s important for the music to be open-minded and not to limit oneself “.. GAVLYN is one-of-a-kind. Even if her Beats sound like fresh from the 90s, her new album is interspersed with modern accents.
Her unique voice, her authentic and direct air, her diverse Flows and her exquisite Beats make her a real treat and a much wanted artist in the Rap crowd. Her album From the Art was released in October 2012 by L.A. label Broken Complex and since then has been on the road to success. The song What I Do has been played 3.7 million times on YouTube so far.
After having performed exclusively in L.A. things took a dramatic turn when, at the start of 2013, GAVLYN set out to conquer Europe. By now a whole lot of fans all over Europe have rejoiced in her shows!
Her third album, Modest Confidence she's taking a different approach in baby steps with a whole new flow and not so much boom bap only a little

CYPHER SQUAD | THE HAWKEYE
•Originally born in Puerto Rico, SwayD (a.k.a. Danny Day) moved to California with his family in 1984. He has lived in various parts of the Golden State including San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Jose. His musical journey began at age 9 when he started playing drums and other percussion. In 2002 he helped form the LA live hip-hop crew known as Herbin' Prophets. As a founding member, SwayD helped write, produce, and arrange for the group and also performed live at several venues. Now in the South Bay, SwayD strives to keep that hip-hop legacy alive. Lyrically, SwayD brings an originality that has truly been missing and he does it in English and Spanish. After working on his debut album "The Blessing" in 2008, SwayD followed up with his mixtape series known as "The No Budget Mixtapes." Recently, SwayD collaborated with Oakland's Rob Reason with a track titled "Babylon Soon Fall" on the "Microphone Madness" project (Available on iTunes) made to raise money for Aids Walk 2011. His latest offering "The Hawkeye EP" was released October 9, 2012 to prepare the masses for The Hawkeye album (2013). SwayD Danny Day is also a pivotal member of The Cypher Squad (San Jose). Whether it's performing in LA and the Bay Area, producing music, or being active in his community SwayD strives to be an example to others and to always bring musical expression of the highest caliber. SwayD is a true musician and a real hip hop lyricist so you can expect to hear from him more and more as he continues to grow as an artist.
