The thing is this, people like to talk big bronco behind these screens. And the killer part is that they be located in some small city in the bay. Talking mad shit, but when the truth of the matter is that, that same person talking shit. Would be quiet when they met that person face to face.

And thats the honest truth, because cats are unrealistic with their views. People might hate on so and so, but when they meet that person. They either trying to be homies or they run with their tail behind their legs.

I say be real at all times, and just because you might not like a person music. That don't mean you won't like the person. And I'm going to leave it at that.

I'm out. Download my album

http://rapidshare.com/files/255524022/Organized_Chaos.zip.html and don't hate!!

LOL @ the irony.

EXACTLY. Furthermore, just because you might like a persons music, doesn't mean you SUPPORT (Buy/Download) the persons music. Liking doesn't always mean supporting. Take Rick Ross for example, I liked Rick Ross' music before he got exposed as CO, and I still like his music today. Conversely, I supported his music before he got exposed, I DO NOT SUPPORT his shit today. In other words I like his music, dislike the fake ass image, which is why I won't support (buy) his music. But that doesn't mean I turn off the radio every time his song comes on. People need to learn how to differentiate music from image. Just because you dislike somebodies image doesn't mean you have to dislike their music. You can dislike somebodies image, not support their music because of it, but still acknowledge their skills as a rapper. What if Nas got exposed as an undercover FBI agent or some shit....does that take away from his rapping skills? Do all of his songs all of a sudden suck? Fuck naw.

There is a big difference between constructive criticism and hating. I'll lend an ear to what somebody go to say, but if they come with plain hating.....I throw it out my mind like tuesday's trash. I never dwell on use less shit.

I learned a long time ago that people will talk & hate on anything from your fit's, kicks & what color you painted your car & they type of rims you rollin'. I don't do anything to impress anybody. I do what I want and fuck what anybody thinks. It's my world bitch! Everybody else that's too busy talking about me & what I do, are just squirrels hanging from my nuts!

The problem with Siccness is that far too many people have hidden agendas and prejudices that cloud their judgments and invalidate their opinions. These hidden agendas and prejudices are the difference between hate and honest opinion. A lot of times it doesn't even matter what is said, it matters who is saying it. Some people have already made up their minds about who they don't fuck with, and usually their reasons have nothing to do with music. For example, if you ask some cats on here why they don't fuck with SF rapper Ya Boy, their answer will most likely be because he "sold out" by moving to Malibu. That answer has nothing to do with his material or quality of music. Because of that prejudice, whenever a Ya Boy thread pops up, the people that have these feelings towards Ya Boy will NEVER have a good thing to say about it. To me that's hating....letting shit that has nothing to do with musical talent cloud you judgment and form your opinions.

politics reason why the BAY ain't where it should be. kc love us more then us, ain't that a bitch.

i think there's more unnecessary/unfounded hype than "hate" on the siccness. people be pumping up artists and albums that are really awful so sicc posters will support them.

okay you make a good point but this forum is dead compared to other sites. how many sales do you really plan on having when there's like 20 something people viewing B.A.R.T. which is the most active sub forum.

I respect and support the WHOLE Bay, SF, Oaktown, Vallejo, Sac, Pittsburgh, and any other spot I might've forgot. Ol school Bay like Too Short, E-40, Celly Cel, C-Bo, Digital Underground, Hammer, Mac Dre and new school Bay, like Mistah F.A.B., Messy Marv, Big Rich, JacKa, and Rydah J. Clyde.

my man that's well and all good don't forget about EPA and EMP. Sac isn't the Bay, they played their position back in the day doe. but everyone of the spots you named played a role in the way you and the world perceive the Bay Area. I could further elaborate but I'll chill either way. rite on for listening.

you can't criticize an artist song because now a days you'll become a hater..

ain't that about a bitch?
^ this

sometimes it is hating... but a lot of the time it's simply having an opinion

and on BART negative opinions = hating

that's why I tend to not post on BART too often

My big gripe about The Siccness is people always hatin on another's opinions and posts. Thats one of the reasons i left this site alone years back, besides the fact my computer broke on me. That was like 2004 i think. Its kinda ironic cause i bought the computer that i'm on now from my nigga who was banned from the Siccness. He told me i should fuck wit it again and I did. I like the new look of it and there's still some of names on here i recognize. There's more love, hate, bullying, titties, Jacka and I-Thugs on here than ever. Still not enough women though.
