this could go down 2 ways:

the sicc finances is, makes a committee to handle everything, and it becomes a huge open to the public event

or

everyone figures out who is down, someone takes charge, coordinates who is going to bring what to where, and everyone brings a lil extra for the crashers....LOL.

I'd try route #2. You're gonna need a permit though and it'd be cool if the site would pick up that portion of this, but that's just my 2 cents..

I'm down to help you guys plan it out, but last time I got involved and tried to do the SD one, it ended up being a waste of time..

All someone needs to do is pick a date and location and then find out how much the permit will be. If they can get money to buy the permit this won't be a waste of time..

So let's all pick a day and time. You all know the Bay better than me, but a Saturday/Sunday in July would be cool. The 17th is a Saturday and almost 2 weeks after the 4th..

I think we should do it like this..........figure out how much the permit will be, and then set up a paypal account. If you kids are serious about having it, you donate to the account, and we can get the permit, with a set date, and go from there.

so far we are leaning towards a saturday in july.
