I've been wrong lately with my boxing predictions but with football I've been on point. I was wrong about the Saints (sucking last year) and so far I've been wrong about the AFC and NFC West. But other than that I've right about everything else. And why save time? Weren't you the one digging up old as post from years ago? What's up now? Dig up some of my recent post and you'll see fools getting owned and scared to come out of the bushes.

its irritating to say since you have a potentially capable qb in mccown, and culpepper for christs sake, but yes stick russell in, he cant do much worse than anyone else, id guess the only reason they wouldnt have him in yet is the potential to get hurt, but fuck it nothing else is working out

I don't think it'd be a good idea to start JaMarcus. He's still a rookie trying to learn the game and the playbook. I REALLY don't want to see him get hurt or get jittery by seeing all these huge guys come after him faster than it was in college.

Sticking him in now would alleviate what? What if he isn't prepared? Then what....what if he gets hurt? then what.... trade away McCown and Culpepper for someone else? That's crazy talk. let him see how bad it can get. And let him learn from Culpepper and McCown. They can show him what NOT to do and let him know how they USED to be.

And please, fellow Raider fans. DO NOT boo your own team. DO NOT boo Josh McCown. Why would you do that? We are RAIDER fans right. He is a RAIDER. Why would you do that? This is a franchise that we all love and that we all want to do well. How can we expect our chosen starting quarterback to perform well when half the time out there he has to feel like he has to prove something to us. Which will only make him make rash decisions and rush things.
And why chant "Russell! Russell!" and make whatever relationship between JaMarcus and Josh even more difficult.Haven't you guys seen Any Given Sunday?

Also we have to manage our expectations Raider fans. We can't think that we'd go from 2-14 last year to 10-6 this year or even 8-8. Things take time. This season all I wished for is for us to double our win total form last year. A 100% increase in wins would an amazing step. Mind you, the irrational Raider fan in me still bet $20 for the Raiders to win the Superbowl at the beginning of the season.

I dunno... whatever. Go Raiders... I'll still be there till the clock strikes 00:00...

^ ya i dont agree with starting JR either but at this point it really wouldnt hurt at all. i just wanna see how he plays. i havent seen him play at all since he got drafted since he had that contract hold out. I just wanna see how he plays, and how he handles the pressure. he has a cannon.

It could hurt BIGTIME!

First off is he doesn't have the playbook down he will hold onto ball longer resulting in some major hits being taken.

second, if he doesn't hold onto the ball he will probably force throws for INT'S....those will build up and then eventually he will become gun shy for fear of throwing picks.

third, bro hasn't played a single snap at NFL speed....Mind you he wasn't that great of a college QB what the hell will happen to him at NFL with not a full playbook under his head???

Play anyone but McCown. He has to the worst starting QB in the league. Kiffin has no confindence in McCown at all that's why the play calling sucked!
