This is serious business......This has been a debate for too long and the BCS is far from perfect......I really think they should cuz this would be the only way to determine a real National Champ w/o other schools loudly complaining that they should of gotten a shot @ the National Title but because of the BCS computers they were cheated blah blah blah.......I still think certain playoff games should still have the bowl title just to keep the Bowl tradition alive but I Division 1-A needs some type of playoff system.

Unfortunately, you can't please everyone. If we had an 8 team playoff, number 9 would bitch and complain about not being included.

BUT, although I enjoy having a few bowls (Rose Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, etc.), I'd trade them for an 8 team playoff.

Lou Holtz said there should be 16 teams in the playoffs(2 from each conference).......I almost agree with that but u would still have an issue.....If that happened then Texas Tech would not make the playoffs this year & that wouldn't be fair but then again u can't please everyone.......I think they should grab 2 of the top ranked schools from each conference & then give 16 other schools a bowl game on the side who didn't make the playoffs but had great seasons & judge by their rankings.....That would be a lot better.

There have been a couple of different ways for this to be broke down....I gave one & someone else through up a link to an article......I really like my way but that's just me....Notre Dame is in a bowl game & those mothafuckas should not have been granted shit with there shitty ass season....A playoff system is better-period.

something needs to be done.

the 3 -4 weeks between the last games and the bowl games is plenty of time for a 16 team system. how that would work, i dont know but it would definately determine the appropiate champion, although this year, it looked about right.
