CEO's are financial investors. They don't pay people to fail. Do you keep pouring money into a stock that's going down the drain? No, you sell and get as much of your money as you can. Do banks continue to lend you money, or for that matter just give it to you, when you can't even make the payments? No.
Remember, artists 'borrow' money from their record label to make an album. That money isn't just given to them. The company is making an investment and they expect to see a return on it.
AT WHAT POINT SHOULD AN ARTIST RELIZE THAT ITS TIME TO BECOME A CEO?
When they realize they belong...not think they belong, KNOW they BELONG on the business side of things and have the knowledge to succeed at it.
SHOULD A CEO LET HIS ARTIST MAKE BUSINESS MOVES OUT SIDE THE COMPANY??
As long as he is fulfilling his obligations to the company or it's a mutual benefit for both the company and that artist.
CAN A ARTIST AND CEO WORK TOGETHER AND GET MONEY EQUALLY OFF OF A PROJECT?????
If they go into the project as equal partners and are prepared to take equal losses.
IF A CEO SPENDS LOOT ON A PROJECT SHOULD HE GET HIS LOOT BACK FIRST OR SHOULD MORE MONEY BE SPENT ON THE PROJECT??/
The CEO (the investor) needs to be paid back. It's up to him to decide if it's a smart move to continue investing or re-invest into the project.
