LOL...yes, because clearly PERSONAL gain has anything to do with the American economy. That went entirely over your head, but should i be shocked?

NOW youre getting...kinda. Keep up, sport.

I just explained it as did you.

LOL....we do? Explain it to me then. The way I Saw it, seomeon attacked Amercia (9/11), so we go to look for some boogie man in some caves in Afghanistan, and end up invading Iraq and killing Saddam. LOL...makes COMPLETEL sense to me. We can find Saddam in a spider hole, but cant seem to find Osama, who has AMERICAN ties? Hmmmm....

LOL....they could, but everyone would be mad as fuck if they found out it was REALLY for gaining money and power. Baffling.

LOL....Al Queda is the boogie man that no can locate. It doesn't exist.
You need to quit typing when you're drunk man.

1) We're NOT in the middle east for MONETARY GAIN. Wars cost MONEY, LOTS OF MONEY. We have the most technologically advanced military on the planet, as well as the MOST EXPENSIVE military on the planet. As you can see, our nation is having HUGE MONEY PROBLEMS, not SOLUTIONS resulting from us being at war in the middle east. For you to say this war was started for anybody to MAKE MONEY is completely wrong. 3/4 of printed American currency is sitting in Chinese banks right now. Our dollar isn't worth shit, and all businesses have shipped their jobs to Mexico, China and India.

2) The war was started to look for WMDs (lie to cover for their interest in taking Sadamm Hussein out of power), infiltrate terrorist cells within Iraq (true, but after they admitted there were no WMDs) and essentially hunt for Osama Bin Laden. We know the actions and reactions that got our nation's soldiers sent into the middle east.

3) the Bush family already had/has money and power. Of course he and many of his affiliates capitalized off of war money- he's a crooked ass president. Worse than Nixon. "We're spending all this money... we might as well pocket some" just like 99.5% of every other human being to live this earth and make a living in politics. You think Obama doesn't have a few extra bucks from all his spending? Same plot, different story lines.

4) how in the fuck are Al Queda "boogie men that no one can locate" when they make videos saying "whats up y'all, this is AL QUEDA. We about to chop this American journalists head off just to show you what we're about. Oh yeah, be sure to wait and hear from our Public Relations guy shortly after every major terrorist attack in Iraq/Afghanistan/Pakistan to confirm whether or not we're going to take responsibility for it." That's like telling me the mothafuckin Hell's Angels are just figments of my imagination that the government tells me came through and destroyed the basketball courts in my sleep because they're secretly against me playing basketball. Al Queda exists. Period.

This war was started for one reason: in response to the 9/11 attacks. America was attacked, and this is how those running our country responded. I'm not saying they didn't gain shit, I'm not saying it was the right thing to do, I'm simply telling you: action/reaction.

As far as this shit goes: I spent about 2 hours last night on the phone with my best friend who is stationed there. He was in the same building the shooting happened at 12pm finishing some health paperwork (PDHRA I think was what he called it... Post Deployment Health Reassessment ____ ??). Apparently its just a building where people who go to Iraq get a psychiatric evaluation before they ship out, and another psychiatric evaluation when they come back. Being that my dude returned a few months ago and is about to go on leave, he's been getting all that post-war paperwork health shit out the way. So he comes back to the building around 1pm to visit the optical professionals and clear up more paper work, when he and his friend start hearing the shooting. My boy is like "oh, that's just funeral brigade" kind of shrugging it off. You know, they're all military and there's qualifying ranges as well as a funeral gun salute that happens on a normal basis. So anyway after he heard the 3rd/4th/5th shots, he and his friend look toward the building and they both see this guy running after everybody duel wielding pistols just dropping people. I guess he said he just stood there watching... stunned for some period or time. They hopped back in the ride and sped toward their nearest officer and let them know what was going on.

My friend was still kind of in shock over it all. I could tell in his voice. Real monotone. Said it was just like a dream to him, and it kind of fucked with him how calm he remained through out all of it. Fucked up part is after dealing with all the traumatic events from the war, he witnesses all this shit. I'm just on the phone and I'm like "this is THE story on all national news outlets right now, and I got you sitting here telling me play by play of how it all started. You were involved in that shit. Its like being one of the people who witnessed Columbine or Virginia Tech. Mfkrs are gonna end up wanting to write and/or report stories about your life and how it relates to being a part of that shit."

Apparently the dude who went crazy had stayed back on some detail or another the past 2 or 3 deployments he was supposed to go on. The moment they cornered him and was like "look motherfucker its your turn to go", he went crazy. Dudes been getting all the military benefits for years and the moment he has to go over there, he goes nuts and kills soldiers instead. Fucked up part is he was in his 40s, a Major, and likely would not have seen any combat. So under those circumstances, that would be the open window for asking whether or not it was a terrorist or religiously influenced act. The connection I made though, was that he carried out his massacre the same way the VT shooter did... two hand guns, plenty of extra ammo on him. I also heard on television the guy had some connection with VT around the time those shootings took place.

So take from it all what you will. I guess its just another tragedy. This one hit kinda close to home for me though, for a minute I wasn't sure if my friend was alive. Turns out he's okay physically, but at the end of the day this whole Army experience has done a huge number on his psyche... and that was even before seeing this.

Not to mention he had made it clear in the past he wasnt for ne part of america beingout there and wanted nutin to do with it. so how did he get to be where he was at, and thats excluding hte fact he is muslim. racial profiling YEA FUCK YEA along with everything else that pointed to the signs.

1) We're NOT in the middle east for MONETARY GAIN. Wars cost MONEY, LOTS OF MONEY
Again, you need a reading comprehension course...why am i not surprised.

For the third time, this has NOTHING to do with us as a nation gaining money, but INDIVIDUALS in power making LOTS of money....LOTS. Do you know who owns many of these companies that MAKE weapons for war? Ill give you a hint: one is an ex-vice president, among OTHERS. It was just noted that 237 people in congress are MILLIONAIRES. Baffling.

We didn't invade Iraq until AFTER we went to Afghanistan and could'nt find shit for a year...then all of a sudden, out of NO WHERE, Bush decided to go after Saddam, which was in 2003. We looked like FOOLS for not finding Osama, so they went after a PUBLIC figure in the Middle East to save face...and it WORKED like a charm. No one gave a SHIT about Osama after that.

3) the Bush family already had/has money and power. Of course he and many of his affiliates capitalized off of war money- he's a crooked ass president. Worse than Nixon. This completely CONTRADICTS your "1)".

SO you speak/translate Arabic? For all you know, those are some weirdos just looking for attention and have NOTHING to do with anything al queda. All the US media shows is one or two guys saying shit that YOU nor I can understand, and say "oh, al queda made another threat today". We don't know what the origins of those tapes are or are for, nor who is on them...for all we know they are 20 years old. We only know what the media tells. Its up to YOU to believe it or not. Sorry, but just because the media says it, doesnt make it so. As a matter of fact, it was proven IN court, that media outlets, under the 1st amendment in the constitution, can LIE. Yes, you are reading that right. Fox won in court.

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2007/7/30/201231/262

This story was first heard by me on the RADIO, of which I then went to look it up.

We about to chop this American journalists head off just to show you what we're about. Oh yeah, be sure to wait and hear from our Public Relations guy shortly after every major terrorist attack in Iraq/Afghanistan/Pakistan to confirm whether or not we're going to take responsibility for it." Al Queda exists. Period.
Al queda EXISTED back in the 80's and early 90's and was FUNDED by the US, which is WELL documented (hell, there is a fuckin MOVIE about it). The US supplied Afghanistan with weaponry and training to BEAT the Russians in the 80's....the problem is, they retained ALL OF IT and had access to it. AL queda is essentially a entity MADE UP by the US carrying the name from the early 90's. As of right now, they are non-existent and are USED for "scare tactics" by the US. There are books and a documentary about the false-hood of al queda put out by BBC.

This war was started for one reason: in response to the 9/11 attacks. America was attacked, and this is how those running our country responded. I'm not saying they didn't gain shit, I'm not saying it was the right thing to do, I'm simply telling you: action/reaction.
The problem is, you nor I nor ANYONE, besides the direct people involved, know what happened that day, period. We were not there when it was planned, all we see are bits and pieces of things, and the story is that it was done by a couple of "brown faced terrorists". Im not saying it DIDN'T happen like that, but no one know that it DID for sure, bottom line. For all we know, it was a tactic to GO to start a war...to get the US behind it. When it comes to politics, at the federal level, things become real muddy and sometimes corrupt...its happened MANY times and it will CONTINUE to happen. For all we know, it was USED as an excuse to invade Iraq. Without it, there is no way the American public backs a full attack on ANYTHING over there.

fulfilling bullshit doesn't make you a coward or a pussy
I haven't met a single veteran in my life who just says to me "Justin, I had plenty of fun over there in Vietnam/Korea/Iraq/Afghanistan killing another nation's people for completely impersonal reasons simply because I was ordered to do it"

but at the end of the day, they still did the job they knew damn well they had the chance to be assigned when the time came.

So yes, not fulfilling what you consider to be "bullshit" DOES make you a coward and/or pussy when you signed up for the job.

I don't want to hear that bullshit... "I'm fighting for your freedom", "I'm doing my job", which one is it you convenience seeking muthafucka (and that wasn't aimed at you). The truth is it's easy to sy it's a job or any other excuse when you fuckin' up someone elses shit -especially with people behind you saying it's ok, in fact it's the right thing to do- but when it's your ass and your loved ones gettin they shit split then everything is "gay" and "pussy" and "coward", evil, weak, and whatever other convenient adjective people choose to use.

boogie men , 30 years ago we were supposed to fear communism

afganistan was the response to 9/11. 9/11 made the iraq war possible using mass fear . also things that the FBI and the CIA were made "legal" througth the patriot act things they have been doing for years and years
