Wow he didn't wanna go to Iraq so he shot people? He coulda saved a lot of lives and time if he just put one in his own head. We don't need pussies like him in the army.
^^to add on my previous comment, theres probably more to the story than what the press is telling us so who knows, but yeah your right it dont justify killin his fellow soldiers who were probably all junior soldiers either way....and yeah theres probably alotta pussies in the army, probably just couldnt cut it to go to the Marines....i kid i kid! lol

WHAT A COWARD, ITS HIS FAULT HE SIGNED THE PAPERS JUS LIKE EVERYBODY WHO JOINED & TOOK A OATH. DONT PLAY THE GAME IF U DONT LIKE THE RULES
When the rules get stretched to fight a war we started for no reason is another thing. Does that justify what he did? Not at all. However, I have heard from many soldiers that they are tired of being deployed to the Middle east 3 and 4 times...and have no idea WHY they are there.

It is no secret that the military involvement in the ME is for CAPITAL gain by Western entities...its tragic that people are getting caught up in someone elses personal gain.

"act of terrorism"

FUCK this.. it makes me mad they fuckin made it into our MILITARY
i still dont get what ur trying to say...who is this "They"? As stated before Timothy McVeigh was a terrorist and essentially he was one of "us", an American. now i dont know this dudes citizenship but if he was in the Army already, that makes him one of "us" and not "Them." So who are u talking about? A terrorist isnt just someone from the Middle East.

Oh and where are all the puns? Ohhhh only SOME murder is funny.

Why did they join then? im guessin the ones you talked to probably enlisted after 01, or 03 when the wars started?as SavD Out was sayin, they shouldve known of what they signed up for before they put their name on the dotted line, people dont join the military esp the Army or Marines without knowing that there is a 98% chance of goin overseas multiple times

Wasn't this guy in his forties? Pretty sure he was enlisted BEFORE 2001.

But you're missing the point. They are being deployed WITH NO EXPLANATION. Why ARE we there? Can you tell me? I keep hearing the bullshit excuse of "to fight for your freedom". When exactly has our freedom been in jeopardy? And please do not say 9/11. If anything, our freedom has gotten a bit LESS freedom-y AFTER 9/11 by our OWN government.

Anyone who's been in the military can't sit there with a straight face and say "you knew what you were getting into," when recruiters and everybody inline will look you dead in the eye and lie to your face and tell you just use it to further your education in a specific field, you'll never see war, you'll never be deployed, etc.etc.

People are stupid for still falling into it, but don't try and pretend these mother fuckers wont lie to your face about everything to get you to sign.

I guess your recruiter lied to you but my recruiter didn't bullshit me. I knew even before I met with my recruiter that I would be deployed. It's something that should be common knowledge by now. I knew what I was getting into. Anyone who signs up should know what they're getting into. If you wanna further your education go to college. Everyone has a certain reason for joining the military. Mine wasn't to further my education. That's what I'm going to college for.

I'm not in the military, I have family in the military. Still, none, of what you said changes the fact that recruiters will blatantly lie to get you to join. "Should know" and what you're told are two different things. You must not of ever been approached by military recruiters in poorer areas, the things i've heard are pretty funny.

I'm glad you're able to afford college without the military and there bullshit enlistment bonuses, however, YOU being able to afford college doesn't mean the millions of other who struggle every day can.

You're right about the first part. I've never heard a recruiter lie to someone. No soldier I know has ever told me that they were lied to, but I'm sure it does happen.

About the second part...I can't afford college. I am on 100% financial aid. I am gonna be at least $20,000 in debt when I graduate. Trust me, if I had no financial aid I wouldn't be here right now. Just because you don't have a lot of money doesn't mean that you can't go to college. My family struggles every day just like millions of others, but that's no excuse not to get an education.

what's actually sad is in about a week or a month we'll forget about this shit. News will find more shit to scare us with... the cycle will continue, and nothing will change!
