I doubt that when they sign someone they are actually, thinking.. okay we can sign this group, so shady can give away more beats.. Its a promotion thing for the artist... Millions and millions of people KNOW shady.. I doubt a million people know the federation, it would be to there advantage to get a beat from him? but I doubt its an automatic thing.. where every signed artist, gets beats.. Do you really think that is the case? where they go to sign you, and they say okay, now just make your songs to these shady beats? naw.. its what sounds good first of all.. but if they think they might need something different to push their music to other avenues.. it would only help them, to be able to get a shady beat. or a dre beat? or any other known producer, besides the one they Always deal with?

on a side note.. check out our new isht.. called.. "The B A Y" www.StraightTripping.com

Shady/Aftermath or any of those big labels won't sign a Bay artist. They'll just listen to our beats and slang and steal them.
Yeah and our "slang & beats" is sooo rare out here...that we can't come up off of em. Get it right, niggas making atleast 20k off beats... and getting radio play due to producers. So outsiders are coming to the Bay to get money where we didn't? C-mon that whole "stealing" shit don't don't mean shit unless they state that they made it up and that's how they do it in they're region. So if I turn on the TV today and hear a track I uploaded on the Net playing in the backgound of a show... they stole from me.... or did me a favor? If someone in the East does a mixtape song to a Keak beat... what is that...disrespectful. Some kat's don't know wether they want to be apperciated, acknowledge, or just dick rode and put on a pedastall. I think niggas wanna be Puffy or Dame Dash and be seen in everybody's video with a TBIB T-shirt on to let em know it's official and "it's alright" for others to use the slang the Bay originated. How much will it take for some people to feel that the Bay is getting it's props.

it would be a good move for the FEDS! On a big label with good marketing/promotions is just what they need. The FEDS don't need beats from Shady when they got their own Platinum Producer Rick Rock!!! I just hope somebody from the Bay blows up

DART is the man at shady in NYC who is lookin real close at the bay. he is the one who signed Stat Quo from atlanta and he believes the bay is a hot bed of talent. he has looked at every rapper in the bay who is makin noise. i personally have brought him YA BOY's 2 cd's, NASTY NATE, YOUNG DRU, GRAND SKEME, RICK ROCK, COGNITO, B-LEGIT, AP9 and Mob Figaz. DART is a HUGE fan of MISTA FAB. Fab tells me hes comin out here in the next few weeks to have a sit down with him.
I think shady would be a great home for any of our bay artists as long as we're allowed to stay true to ourselves and our bay area style and sound. DART posts on here every now and then and u can search thru the threads to find his post about shady looking for artists. he's a hella cool guy and he aint no bullshitter. he listens close to the music and he is very knowlegable about the bay and our artists.

Shady would be a REALLY GOOD HOME for Bay artists. Just cause u on Shady dont mean u gotta fuck with their beats they handle promotion and shit. FAB and the FEDs would do great their because Shady backs their artists with promotion hella hard. Shady puts 100 percent in their artists real talk. FAB is a tight ass rapper that can do some go dumb shit or some lyrical shit. Love that nigga man he got the right head on him for the business. On a side note I think Ya Boy gassed the beat Stat Quo had for checkmate way harder than Stat Quo did. I think another tight ass Bay artists is Ya Boy. Im noticing the Frisco rapper got dumb ass bars

A lotta muhfuckas in this thread sound like girlz, man. Classic examples'a why the Yay ain't gone nowhere. Right in front'a your eyes you see Bay talent gettin looked at, noticed and appreciated to the point where offers are bein' made and the only thing muhfuckas can do is bitch and talk stupid shit. Shady/Aftermath is one of the biggest labels in the game. If the Federation and all'a them are talkin and interested, they must see some value in taking a deal, but we got a lotta muhfuckas chimin' in on some goofy shit talkin' about its a wack Idea. Come on, ya'll??? Sometimes I think we really are on that crabs in a bucket shit in the Bay. Ya'll seein' 'em start to climb out and automatically start wit the bullshit. That exposure would be huge for the Bay.

lol .. y'all act like when you sign to Shady you automatically get 13 Eminem beats and 7 D12 features on your album. On "Get Rich Or Die Tryin" 50 had 2 Eminem beats on there. On "Massacre" he had 1 Eminem beat on there. Stat Quo has his own producers plus Aftermath has a network of different producers they fuck with (DJ Quik, Timbaland, Needlz, Focus, etc ..) Quit future cryin about shit that aint even happened yet.
