this i guess is a real estate site that estimates how much yuor house is worth...looks authentic, they got my huose info down and the satellite photo and everything...anyway, its cool, check it out.
and i thought they were gonna ask you to fill in a bunch of info
i wonder how accurate it is, might test these vaules against title comps
thanks for the site
*edit* its a tad off, the house down the street from mine is listing at 4.5 mill (its a newly constructed though) it has it as 1.7 on the site. Still a good site nonetheless
Hahahaha yeah, this dude was showing me that zillow site at work and he was like "who's house should we look at?" and he starts thinking and then he's like "oh yeah lets see what Bill Gates' address is!"
LOL @ the site saying 1 bathroom.
Zestimate Ranking
99% of homes in the 98004 ZIP code have a value lower than this home.
Where does all the data come from? How can you know all this stuff?
The data — believe it or not — is public. What? You've never seen it? That's because it is hard to find and hidden in multiple sources. We've done the legwork for you by getting huge amounts of data from many sources and creating something unique that the public sources don't provide — a Zestimate of your home based on the public data.
smart guys just database sale values from title records, add google satellite images and voila, you have zillow. Pretty cool concept though, should see a lot of traffic.
i think it goes too much off sq. footage, our house is pretty big but shitty as fuck. my moms house is only like 200,000 on there, and its not too big but in a WAY better neighborhood and nicer
Well for the most part none of these houses are really WORTH that much....more like thats how much of a Bank loan their is on the property....
Most homeowners dont "own" they house...they prolly have a 1%-20% stake in it, if that..They even have 0% down now...so its like What do you really "own" besides a loan payment??
But their are people who own 80%-100% of their homes...like my boys grandma who bought her crib in the 60's for like $20k...its now worth like $640k.....
Bottom line, your house is worth how much someone will pay for it!!!
