Ok. We all obviously like quality shit 'cause we're a member of this board. But I know this is true for probably everyone here. Everyone has a couple of THOSE albums. The kind your folks don't know hyou have. The kind you "lost" the cover to, and the cd is not in your collection case. And you especially don't play it in your car - unless the windows are rolled up. But you own them - and are shamefully, uncontrollably, drawn to them.

C'mon, we all got a few of those. Name 'em.

I'll take one for the team and go first namin' a few.

Hmmmm....

For some reason Guns & Roses "Apetite for Destruction" and Skid Row's debut album are in my closet somewhere.
I ain't bullshittin, I stole these cd's a long ass time ago when my friends hot wired this one guy's car.

But the one album that I do keep along with all my other shit is Santana's "SuperNatural"....
Now that is real music, gotta have the man who started it all in the mix....

I have a Nas and Raekwon. and Damu Ridas. I try to keep those east coast cd's low key and we know why. Also I don't bump that Damu Ridas around everbody because I ain't no blood and I don't want no funk over that.

I got a few old records that I used to bump as a kid.

I got that popcorn track... lol. And I got a whole gang of shit that I ain't heard in ages. Mostly singles like 'video killed the radio star' and 'bad to the bone'. I got alot of old school hip hop like Ghetto boys and 5th Ward - Underground G's is the knock. Also got Wu tang, gravediggaz and Busta Rhymes early shit. That Rampage album still knocks...

This is a funny post...

Chino XL is hot. I bought that CD the day it came out. It's nothing to be ashamed of at all.

Best love songs ever written: IN ORDER

1. Luis Miquel (Te Extrano)
2. Donny Hathaway (I Love you more than you'll ever know)
3. Marvin Gaye (Let's Get it On, Sexual Healing)
4. Lenny Williams (Because I love you)

Have all the albums

If you don't know about Luis Miguel.... or Donny.... you need not apply for OG status.

Others in the collection:
Michael Jackson
James Brown
Sam Cooke
Every funky late 70's early 80's roller skating song
Commissioned ( a gospel group)
Mahalia Jackson (everybody in my family groes up on Mahalia)
Los Bukis.... nah, just playin.
other shit, though. Most prized song is a old tape of Donny Hathaway live singing "Giving up is Hard to Do" and "Love you more than you'll ever know"

But as far as "Secret CD's"... aint no secrets mayne. If you like it, bump it.
