They'll be fine, they have a good shot at being 8-3 going into the Denver game. Nowhere near panic time.

I am a little worried that the #1 seed might be unattainable at this point, we may have to win a playoff in Chicago to get back to the Super Bowl. Let's just hope we can get the #2 seed so it's just 1 home game until the game in Chicago.

I have hated our D coordinator ever since he arrived. He picks these horrible ass zones on 3rd down damn near every time.
John Marshall was the toast of the town last year in the NFC Title Game, not many defensive coordinators can say they shut down Steve Smith.

And also, you probably were not aware he existed when he "arrived" in Seattle b/c that was 2003 and, being the linebacker's coach, wasn't calling anything, wasn't on any fan's radar. He was promoted to Defensive Coordinator last year in the middle of the year after Ray Rhodes got sick. And if you're thinking of Rhodes, he's got nothing to do w/ any of these calls, it's Marshall's show.

Every fan hates zones and loves that tight man to man that they all play in Madden. It just doesn't work that way in reality, especially if they don't have particularly good corners. It's got nothing to do w/ the coordinator, everything to do w/ personnel.

^im confused on that too. its the secondary if you ask me. we get good pass rush at times and julian peterson has been great along wit the other LB's. we just givin up too many big plays, run and pass. on the other hand, i dont think shaun coming back is going to fix any of our problems. i agree its no time to panic. i think seneca could be as good as hasselbeck if he was taller, you see how many passes he gets batted around? goddamN! plus he was avoiding sacks that matt woulda dove to the ground at. 2-19 in our last 21 at arrowhead. too bad we didnt have something like derrick thomas' sack record followed by dave kriegs hail mary to win that game today. almost pulled a W out though.

1) I agree, the Hawks have probably between the 20th and 25th best secondary in the NFL, Kenny Hamlin is not having a good year, for every play he makes there are 2 or 3 he messes up.
2) I think he'll help but he won't be the magic wand the media will make him out to be the week he comes back. The OL isn't playing as well as they did last year and it's not all b/c of Hutchinson.
3) I agree, that game was their toughest game left on their schedule by far. Seahawks @ KC w/o Hass & Alexander is tougher than Seahawks @ Denver w/ Hass & Alexander. Absolutely no time to panic.
4) Those passes batted down was a huge problem, you're absolutely right. They say he's 5'11, but I've stood next to him before and shook his hand, he's exactly my height and I'm an honest 5'9''.
5) I was too young to remember that game but my Dad told me about it and I saw the video clips. The Seahawks just don't win in Arrowhead, good thing there's no way they can ever play a postseason game there.

1. Thats cuz he got fucked up at Larrys. He's still layed a few licks on folks this year but seems a bit slower?
2. I think its mostly because of Hutch leaving, say maybe 70 percent
3. As a Seahawk fan, every game has the potential to be some crazy shit so im really worried bout the raiders right now. Especially after beating pittsburgh. WTF? two in a row?
4. Yea he came to the bar and got a virgin straw daquiri and i served him he was 5-9 5-10, same as me. But even if they say he's 6 feet, he aint throwin over nobody. If he was 6-2 6-3 he'd be perfect.
5. I was like 8 years old, I remember that game. I had the same attitude then as I do now, "what will they do to fuck up now?" We might not have to play in arrowhead, but do you like the Seahawks you saw today on the road, in the playoffs on the road in Chicago? Any other NFC contenders for that matter?

I was at the Chicago game, of course I don't want to have to go there in the playoffs. We've just got to get that #2 seed to get a bye and a home game, then hope Chicago fucks up at home in the 2nd round after their bye (like they've done the last two times, Philly about 5 years ago and Carolina last year).

If their ridiculously tough road playoff game is the NFC Championship game, then they'll just have to nut up and win, they might be playing much better football than they are now and might be extra hungry to get back to that Super Bowl so who knows. I just don't want them having to play any real tough games before the NFC Championship.
