during the Giants game, my friend said to me, "how the fuck is their defense this bad, they had 11 starters returning from last season?"

I didn't think about it until I watched the Packers game. Last season if you look at the teams the Hawks beat last season, most of the teams had their second string quarterbacks starting. So maybe the defense wasnt tested last season or maybe their D isnt as good as we all thought.

This is just frustrating season so far, I just hope they don't embarrass themselves on national TV against Tampa Bay.

One of the problems is our defense is undersixed compared to some rosters at certain positions...like DT. Our main run-stopper is injured and Mebane can only do so much on his own. Tatupu is ther as well, but hsi has been lack-luster thus far; LeRoy Hill has been a machine out there though.

I have to eat my words here. Someone on the ESPN boar did a comparioson of DL's on the Hawks and other teams, and it turns out that the sizes are not that much different. IN some cases, we have a BIGGER line than others.

i bought the October issue of Playboy and there's an NFL section in there that states the Seahawks "winning nfc west, barely". looks like that might be a correct statement. hopefully.

it ain't over yet...hopefully arizona fuccs up n' loses some big games...st louis on the rise...san fransico was exposed as a flash in the pan wit the sullivan guy getting benched in favor of hill....where the fucc did alex smith go?????? yeah, it's unlikely this year but if we pull one out our asses then yeah......i was kinda hoping they would lose all there games after the tampa bay game and get us a decent high end draft picc

Bottom line is that the NFL Playoff format favors us. Winning the west gets you that automatic 4 seed, automatic home game, and if you win that one, you're 2 good days away from the Super Bowl.

Lot of ifs, but there is still a lot of important football ahead of them despite the mind numbing frustration they have brought us thus far. Hang in there Seattle.
