Nothing wrong with liking a team that's not from your area, but to like another team MORE THAN your own home team is a little strange...

Doesn't mean he isn't a die hard fan though...

Shit, I'm from Texas and I know hella people there that don't like the Cowboys. My pops and my brother hate the Cowboys. Me and my uncle are die hard Cowboys fans. Yes bein from that area is definitely an important factor in likin a team but not the only one.

I'm not even the one who brought up the fakeness of bandwagon hoecakes like you. That was the subject at hand when I posted. You're a fake ass bandwagon piece of shit.

Yeah, before they won their THIRD SuperBowl. What a joke. And what the fuck makes you think anyone's gonna take your word for it? Anybody can claim they were a fan before the team started winning, that doesn't mean it's true.

You're a chump in the Bay who somehow likes a team nowhere near your area, and it just so happens it would be "America's Team" with all their championships and winning history.. Big surprise there. If you happened to live in the Bay and your favorite team was the Texans, I doubt anybody would second-guess your bitch ass, but nope, it has to be the 5-time SuperBowl champs who've appeared in the Bowl 8 times and just so happen to be an elite team in NFL history. And how convenient it is to be able to say you have family in Texas in hopes of false justification for being a bandwagon follower. Well guess what.. I have family on the planet Mars........ See how that works? Obviously not true, but hey, this is the internet and I can claim whatever the fuck I want, right? Yeah, that's right.

It is my opinion you're a fake ass bandwagon hoecake, and the fact you had to come in here all defensive like I hurt your feelings only adds to my speculation. They say the truth hurts, looks like you're proving it.

Now shut the fuck up and move on because my opinion won't change.

Get back to the topic at hand.

i don't give a fuck if you think i'm lying, what the fuck do you need me to prove? i don't need to lie about anything, and i don't need to impress anybody on here with unneccessary bullshit statements, but whatever, that's what you think...

I have a feeling Iller Than Ill is just a part of the group where MOST of the fans are complete horseshit. I do agree whole heartedly with what Fatal Nyghtmare said in general about out of area fans, it just doesn't look good most of the times b/c these folks pick teams with winning legacies. It's fan cheating.

That being said, I don't think this Iller Than Ill guy is horseshit, b/c most of those horseshit bandwagoners also don't have shit for Football IQ's. He's impressed me with his insight, he was dead on about the surprise teams in the NFL this year. Not that it matters b/c none of us will ever meet, but I think he's legit. I also was friends with a kid from South Dakota in college who was a die-hard Eagles fan, he was legit.

Still, you are kind of putting yourself out there to be examined by picking an out of area team, particularly a good one. Fatal Nyghtmare was kind of asshole-ish with his language but he brings up a lot of great points about those types of fans in general. I just think he's wrong about this one particular guy.

*PS Props to whoever posted a poll in here, I didn't know somebody could post it if it wasn't the dude who started the thread.

Exactly. That's how I feel, nothing more.

But you came in here acting like I was singling you out. I said 99.99% of Cowboy fans in the Bay are bandwagon followers, and whether you like it or not, that's the truth. Maybe you're part of the .01% that are real fans, but I don't know that and the odds are against it. The fact you got all defensive tells me that you took my statement to heart, which further adds to my doubts.

Yeah I reiterate, you made a lot of great points about out of area fans. I feel the same as you, most of the time, they're frauds.

As dumb as a lot of Niner fans have come across in the last month, I love it when I see folks post stuff like "I'm from the Bay, I ride for the Bay, I'm down for the 9ers fuck everybody else." That's true right there, that's what it's all about.

alright, that's cool. i agree with you about 99.99% of fans being bandwagoners, but i'm just saying at the same time, i'm not part of that 99.99%, and that i have no reason to lie about it.

trufant is injured seahawks secondary is banged up T.O. and glenn should have big games it all depends if dallas's d can step it up
exactly, i forgot to point out another key in this game is dallas stopping matt hasselbeck and his wr corps...i understand darrell jackson might not play, but still, deion branch is a former super bowl mvp, and nate burleson has showed he can be a big play wide receiver, just like he has when he was in the vikings.

Not exactly right on Burleson, he hasn't done much at all at WR, but he's shown he has TD potential when he touches the ball on kickoff and punt returns.

He housed one against SD that got called back (the CBS crew claimed it was a bad call, a simple pancake block called holding). He housed one that we needed to beat the Rams. But he also has fair caught the ball around the 5 and not fair caught a couple of times with lots of traffic. He scares me every time that punt is in the air b/c I'm worried he's going to try and do too much and fumble.

yeah, what i meant to say is that burleson is still a threat. i know he didn't do much this year, but he has shown that he can be a good wide receiver, like he was in minnesota.

If the weather Saturday night is anything like it was today, it could definitely have an impact on the game. Today was one of those days that makes you hate living here, it doesn't really get much worse than a windy 34 degree steady rain.

11/18 pick Seattle, that's about what I would have expected.

Anybody think TO & Glenn both will have big games?

Glenn will, T.O. might, the way Seattle's got them new db's and their defense not tackling well, he might have some big plays.

@ Xpanther, sounds shitty, but the weather here has been like 24, windy and icy
