Man all the haters this year really didn't know what they were talking about. We had injuries early on and had to contend with new rules targeting our secondary specifically and with the largest penalty disparity vs opponents in over 60 years, so it looked sloppy, but this team is as good as ever.

This is the greatest defense of all time right before your eyes folks, and they're all locked in for multiple years. We have quite possibly the greatest quarterback of all time at the helm, and one of the greatest runningbacks. Every seahawk plays at full throttle at all times and never lets up. They batter and bruise and beat opponents into submission every minute every quarter to the extent where every team loses the next week after playing us.

We're winning the superbowl again like I said in preseason with 100% conviction. May even 3-peat. Get on our level @ the NFL

And fuck any o-line talk especially @ i pukokekekililocomotive. Our o line gets the job done week in week out and gets no respect or credit. Wilson was sacked ONCE today vs that seriously competitive arizona defense and their constant blitzes. Its to the point where any line collapse or free runner works to our advantage, and who knows it could even be designed that way.

And fuck percy harvin

OL played well yesterday. Maybe Pete needs to re-asses who is playing where and make some changes. Bailey looked much better than Okung...to me anyways. Britt may have played his greatest game to date, which is a good sign....he has looked horrible most of the season. Sweezy also put it together, and he has been the worst of em all by far. But i think the biggest hats' off goes to Pierre....yes, Unger is awesome and the anchor to this OL, but Pierre is doing a very good job in his absence.

Looks like Simon just dislocated his shoulder, what a shame happened with only 15 seconds left

Fuck I was so pissed about that. Take a fucking knee you're down by a million points with 2 minutes left.

If it wasn't for the defense stats and not giving up a touchdown streak, Pete should have just let the cardinals score so our offense could run out the clock.

Such a unnecessary injury. On the plus side if he has to miss next week and we have a bye, then he will have 3 weeks to recover before the next playoff game.

One lesson I take away from that game is how big a proportion the refs really do play in influencing the outcome of the game.

Just look at the first 1/3 of the game. As good as we looked we couldn't get anything going do to being called for an asinine amout of penalties. Meanwhile the cardinals were getting away with holding all over the place....Loved that replay of Larry Fitz just molesting I think it was Bobby and fucking Cris Collinsworth saying "well thats just a good hold right there" lmao

yeah and they almost got larry fitzgerald killed. He was getting clobbered in garbage time. Just high passes over the middle I was worried for fitzgerald and he's not even on our team lol

one penalty on the cards my ass. It's getting so obvious it's comical now. Yet another team has the lowest amount of penalties they've had all season against the hawks. What a coincidence!

Some other players on the run:

Cornerback Byron Maxwell: “One word: greatness. That’s the best way I can describe it. … I’m still in awe. I can’t wait to look at it again. Seriously, though.”

Receiver Doug Baldwin: “Most times I stay in the moment, and I try not to get caught up in the past or future or what might happen down the line. But in that moment I couldn’t help but think, ‘Twenty years from now, we’re going to be looking back at that run thinking how amazing that was.’ ”

Cable: “J.R. (Sweezy) pinned the linebacker, and he (Lynch) cut back against all the flow. We had Ricardo Lockette on the backside and picked the safety off, so it was just if he could stay in bounds, and he did. What a cool run. I haven’t seen one like that, either.”

Quarterbacks coach Carl Smith: “I started with my binoculars on, which I don’t normally do, but I had my binoculars on and I said right away, ‘He’s got something.’ Then he cut it back, and then he didn’t really have contact until about 20 yards down the field. He made a great cutback and then he was just spectacular going through the DBs.”

Guard James Carpenter: “I just saw Marshawn breaking like 11 tackles.”

Offensive tackle Justin Britt: “I was just blocking, and I hear the crowd start roaring and I look up and Marshawn is breaking like 20 tackles. I just tried to hustle down there, and it was kind of like the Saints game, the one that I watched growing up. I’ve always wanted to be a part of a run like that.”

Offensive tackle Alvin Bailey: “It was…interesting. (Laughs). We all know that he likes that play, and we tried to punch a little hole in there and somehow he found a way to make the rest of that happen.”

Safety Earl Thomas: “I saw a guy that was fearless, and I saw the people on the field were scared of him. They didn’t want to tackle him. He’s so different, bro.”

Smith: “I saw him jump and do his trademark fly-into-the-zone (celebration). Yeah, I’m going with calling it that.”

Thomas: “He is who he is. He’s going to hold his (groin). That’s what he do.”

Maxwell: “That was the best part.”

Linebacker K.J. Wright: “Everybody just got up and rushed to him. That was real special.”

Defensive back DeShawn Shead: “The whole sideline lit up. It was just all energy. Special teams fed off that energy. It just lit everybody up.”

Thomas: “That’s respect, man, and really understanding who you’ve got on your team. He’s special.”

That, and Harvin is a weapon that no one really knows how to use properly. Dude was a STUD college player, where he fits perfectly in the spread. However, in the NFL, there is no such offense. He isnt a great route runner, he is fast but he is a tweener in terms of position. He needs to basically get the balls on sweeps, slants, crossing routes, and screens. Well, you can only do that so much in a game where EVERY player on the field is big, fast, and can hit.
