mayn my family was down from TEXAS and they were talking bout how ppl love SCREWED music over there in Austin and surrounding areas. SCREWED MUSIC is they take a beat and freestyle over it then they slow the song down to half the normal speed then its SCREWED. So while they were over they played a couple songs of it and i was not feeling it at all. Of course i didnt have any Kodean mixed with Ny-Quil either. They said that in order for me to understand that sort of music i would haveto be under the influince. I didnt even feel like giving it a chance.

its a texas thang....alot of peeps ain't going to feel it...but, its very big market downsouf...even the radio station be playing screw music!!

Without Syrup Srewed music to me is a average type of sub genre of rap, but when ur sippin on it and put some head phones with a little beat on, ull get the pictures, syrup gives u "music euphoria" and the shit slows u down anyways, it sounds hella laid back so u can just let ur eyelids drop and float away

I just started getting into this shit, but I have known about for a grip. I'll put that shit on if I'm drunk or just want to mellow out a little bit. I downloaded a full cd of the shit and now I can't stop.

so, does that mean they voice get all deep and slow and shit??? cuz they slowing the track down or wha??? that sounds wack as fuck to me.. I dunno. Anybody know where I can listen to some of this at?

see what happens is they get a beat like r kelly ignition and they just slow the beat down, and then they freestyle over the slow beat but they still have the regular speed voice i think. it is not very good. i heard this one track and the fool talks about being on a yacht with tiger woods but i dont think that fool ever did that.
