That's really your dog's name? If I was a dog, I would want the burger too.
Yeah, Bro. that's her real name, Jada Pinkett Smith. I named her that because her ears remind me of Jada Pinkett's hair in the movie, WOO where she had that bob cut.

To be honest, I didn't want her at first, but she was given to my babies mama. And it since became my dog. I really appreciate my dog though. She let's us know when there is a problem, like when I had my mom here (prior to her stroke), and she fell in one of the rooms. The dog came and barked up a storm and lead back to the room where I found my mom sitting on the floor. My mom was cool though and we were all impressed that Jada had gone for help when my mom fell. Like any dog, she's become a family member.

I take her to a nursing home from time to time and the elderly folks & nurses love my dog. It's good therapy for sick people (so, they say). They all know Jada there and it's kind of funny how they treat her like she's a celeb around there. They hold her, play with her and even take pictures with her. They have framed pictures of her in some of the rooms with the elderly. Around X-Mas time we give the people there X-Mas cards...we sign them & put Jada's paw print as well. They love that....anything to make them elderly folks smile, huh?

@NiNe2FiVe u should get a CANE CORSO instead of a pit, they get bigger and stronger than pitbulls but they cost a grip of money
I seen the Cane Corso's before, those are pretty cool dogs too, but part of the reason I decided with a pit is because they arent gigantic, otherwise Id look at rotts or some kind of mastiff...Boxers are cool too, that could be an option if the pit idea didnt work out, but I like the looks of the pitbulls better.

There are many types of pit bulls and bull terrier's. Its best to do your research on what you get, or where they came from. In todays modern society pit bulls are the most bred dogs, and not all people who bred them know what they are doing, or breeding them with other breeds of dogs
Theres a few knowledgeable siccness users that got a wealth of knowledge about the Breed. Everyones pointing you in the right direction for the most part. I could go on about the breed but Ill make it simple. Find reputable breeders. Bloodline is what gonna seperate your APBT from all else.

LEARN ABOUT PUPPY BEHAVIOR! It'll make or break your dog. Take note of each puppy in the litter and their personality. Stay away from a puppy you feel sorry for. If your looking for a certain kind of look for your APBT a breeder will identify the one you specifically want. I like my APBT to look just as they did 100 years ago. Im not into the bulked muscular look. I like the lean pup with lots of agility and heart!!!!

My PR' Platinum Bound "Diamante" is approaching 8yrs and he still has his energizers batteries running strong.

Nutrition is important. Theres so many dog food around now a days, you just have to pick the right one for your pockets and for your dogs well being. Again theres a thread in this open forum that SharkInfested (sp?) put up a lot of great information.

Drill the breeders with your knowledge and what youve learned. If you know more than the breeder, X that breeder.
