Nah it a happen if someone who's retarded has a virus and gives you an external. Or if you go to a public computer and plug in your external to get a file, then you bring external home, etc.

Well seeing I do none of that, I'm not worried. It's still the same shit though as I said, you just broadened it a little. It's not like I'm going to get it from downloading something off the net. Which I always scan first anyways.

Yeah. The net is actually pretty safe. I only download from forums really, or other places where there would be feedback, so I would know if there's a virus. Some viruses are obvious on limewire, etc, and others I just have auto scanned.

Back up all ya'll MP3z on an external hardrive... then get one more that is only for your house and backup again... Take the first hardrive and take it to as many of your folks' house as you can and hook 'em up while y'all blow trees... it's fool proof... You'll end up with your MP3 collection backed up on 2 hardrives and a gang of others at various locations... With my method, you'll never lose a MP3 again!

I got over 11,000 in my collection and it takes up less than 60 GB... These days you can get 500 G hard drives for less than 2 bills... $89.00 can get you 160 Gigs... My boy just got a 500 gig and is about to slide thru and dump off 40 gigs... OH boy!

you dont need an external HD just partition it and put your music on a separate part then your windows which you should do anyways. scan it with a good anti virus and then move it over and you'll be fine.

myself i have all of my music on linux, so its not like its gonna do shit to it. plus i backup my music with my brother so even if i did lose it it wouldnt be very much.
