San Quinn is my favorite Hip Hop artist, and I will support anything he does. "Hell Yeah" was definitely the best Bay Area single last year, and "Do Ya Thizzle" is pretty good too, although it doesn't really play to his strengths as an artist. I think Quinn would sound much more San Quinn like in an underground Hip Hop sound. If Quinn performed at Rock the Bells he would make a lot more fans than he will doing a hyphy song. But Quinn knows what hes doin and has a good camp, you can't really sit here and suggest things to change San Quinn when he is doing just fine.

ITS SAD QUINN HAS TO MAKE GAY ASS SINGLES JUST TO GET HIS NAME OUT THERE. YOU WOULD THINK BEING 15 YEARS IN THE GAME HE COULD PUT OUT ANYTHING HE WANTS AND IT WILL SELL. I FOR ONE AINT LIVING IN 96 BUT SURE AS HELL AINT FEELIN A LOT OF THE BEATS ON HIS ALBUMS THESE DAYS. I LIKED 7 TRACKS ON THE ROCK AND ABOUT 9 ON I GIVE U MY WORD (WHICH IS PRETTY GOOD THESE DAYS), BUT HIS STYLE HAS SWITCHED TO MUCH, HIS FLOWS AINT NEARLY AS TIGHT AS THEY USED TO BE.

Obviously everyone on here talkin shit about Quinn does not own one of his albums and is basing his entire recent career off of his singles, which by the way are amazing. He has been doin it since he was a teenager (when most of you squares were in diappers watchin barney). Don't speak on things you don't know and don't come up here talkin bout him jumpin on any bandwagon. Hyphy is a bay thing, Quinn is from San Francisco which is the head of the Bay Area, hence the name "San Francisco Bay"; so I ask what is wrong with him makin a hyphy song or two if that's what he wants and if it's what people are going to enjoy? If he feels like makin some hyphy songs, which he himself made maybe three of and has been featured in a few more, what the hell is wrong with it? Are you as well known as him, do you make as much as he does, do you have the lyrical skills he has? If you think you do then go do your thing. And what about the industry do you even know besides what you see on mtv and hear on the radio? Every single song on his past album The Rock was great and there was something for everyone. In terms of his singles, "Hell Yeah" was one of his best that i still hear bumpin in cars, at clubs, and at parties all around the bay; "Do Ya Thizzle" has one of the most catchy hooks I've heard in a while and great flows; "Bring Game To The Table" was a completely different style than what he normally goes for and still hit hard, but because he was maybe trying to appeal to a different fanbase you're screamin out bandwagon. Wow you people really need to broaden your horizons. I'm so let down by how single minded people are becoming, I mean especially here in the Bay where we have been trendsetters for as long as we've been rapping. Please open your mind to new things and when his next album "From A Boy To A Man" hits stores later this year buy it and then come back on here and try to tell me you don't love it. Peace
