I have a couple 3rd party celebrity stories.

My homeboy was at the Hooters here in Oklahoma City wearing a Kobe jersey. His waitress asked him if he was a big fan and he said kinda but when he asked her if she liked him she said "NO! He's a really big pervert actually." He had been in there cause they had a preseason game here before we got the thunder here. Wasn't but like 2 months later he was accused of rape. Cool story breh.

My homegirl out in San Diego always meets people in weird situations. A friend of a friend said hey, I'm going to this birthday party up in Long Beach, wanna go? So she goes (and doesn't invite me like a bastard but she was sure to call me the next day and tell me that the party ended up being for Warren G's birthday. There was a grip of people there, nate dogg, snoop etc... She took pics with all them and warren g kept hitting her up to invite her to parties. She said as she was taking a pic with snoop, she made the dumb decision to touch his hair for some reason (who does that?) and he went off on her and she thought he was seriously about to slap her and didn't talk to her after that

Mario Andretti – world famous race car driver, Indy 500 winner, F1 World Champion, etc. Met on multiple occasions and once saw him crash his moped into a line of parked mopeds cuz he was going to fast

Shook hands with Bill Clinton when he was president, but not during a campaign year.

Afrika Bambaataa

Afeni Shakur – she signed a book about Tupac for me

GZA – really laid back and chill

Tony Touch – got really drunk and spent all of GZA’s set sitting on the floor running the dat for GZA

Mos Def – diva, still nice though

Talib Kweli – diva, still nice though, I sat in VIP at the club with him and ate the chicken wings he ordered while some groupie chick shook her booty in my face. A couple years later my friend introduced him to a friend of his and she became his white girl in the midwest. Coincidentally he paid another friend of mine, who was a cab driver at the time, to drive her from Madison, WI to Chicago, IL (probably 3hr at least) in his cab.

dead prez on multiple occasions and had political discussion with them

Chuck D

Jim Gaffigan the comedian – Hoooooot Pooocckkketts – he spent more time talking to my wife though :(

Boots from The Coup – first learned of the word “gentrification” from him and met him on multiple occasions

Immortal Technique – he picked up this girl at the club we were at and I was going to give him a ride to the hotel, but he didn’t want to wait so he picked this chick up and slung her over her shoulder like she was a backpack and just walked off with her.

Heather B – the rapper/real world season 1 “star”

Sway, Tech, DJ Revolution

Former Congresswoman and Green Party presidential candidate Cynthia Mckinney, not during campaign

The whole Boot Camp Clik (Smif N Wessun, Buckshot [no Five FT], OGC, Sean Price [no Rock]) and DJ Evil Dee met them on multiple occasions – they brought me on stage with them too

Brooks Bollinger – former NFL QB and current QB of Florida Tuskers UFL team – in college saw him get his nose broken at a party, his friend was trying to get him to go to a hospital and I said to them “He doesn’t need a hospital, he’s a pussy”. In retrospect I got off easy as the offensive line was busy chasing down and cornering in a parking structure the guy that broke his nose.

All those siccness rappers that I really don’t listen to anymore – Lynch, Doomsday, First Degree, Loki, Zagg, etc

I met Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, about a month ago. I took my dad to his 50th class reunion and his old ass showed up looking like a hammered Sinatra. lol He was really nice and spoke highly of my dad, which made dad feel great for a while. They were best friends in high school, running around NLR like two young fools in a '51 Mercury. Coincidentally enough, Jerry was voted "most likely to succeed" by that class before they graduated. They were all right. lol He looked at me like I should be on the squad, and I should have asked. Maybe I coulda got on by way of favoritism. haha

I've met Mike Huckabee on numerous random occasions. Say what you will about his political views and I'll hear you, but the man was very nice and one of the most respectable people I've ever met. I ran into him once in Little Rock when my dad was sick in the hospital.

His wife was very sick at the time and I caught up with him in the turn style on my way to visit my dad. He talked with me about how people are intimidated to speak to him because of his security and being a public figure.

I met his wife Janet a couple of times for Governor-sponsored art contests in Little Rock. I won a couple of awards and met her for pictures at the governor's mansion for the certificate ceremony.

Former NFL star Dan Hampton of the Chicago Bears(of the 80's) lived three miles from me until I moved a few years ago. I worked for a gas station as a kid making some peddling money and he came in all the time for gas and snacks. He was always really nice, and the one thing I remember about him is how far his knee caps stuck out from his knees. He had like 7 surgeries on both knees, so that's why they were so crazy looking.

His little sister was my dentist's assistant. She cleaned my teeth before the dentist did his thing.

He use to throw the craziest family-oriented Halloween parties and turned his entire mansion into a haunted house. That was so dope, too. I remember him being super tall and he dressed up as Jason once and carried a chainsaw without teeth through his house chasing kids and parents out of the mansion as he revved it up.

Norm Grabowski comes into my work place every weekend. He's pretty much done everything you can think of from being in beach movies with Elvis to being on the cover of Car & Driver to throwing house parties with Brad Pitt. He's a super nice old man and has some sick ass cars, too.

That cane he's got he hand-built(including the skull and handle out of different metals) and is selling it to a customer in Massachusetts for $4,000. It's craftsmanship is really crazy and the wood he used for the shaft is this crazy corkscrew shaped African wood.

And he's got numerous full custom vehicles.

Here's his Kinda Fresh Fish Truck: The Codfather of Sole

The skull looking thing in the middle is the shifter knob. He makes them himself out of aluminum and other metals and they sell for a nice chunk of change. He also customized this truck himself. He uses all kinds of different things. I'll get pics of his beer tuck soon. It's a flat bed with kegs for gas tanks and a huge chunk of driftwood as a front bumper.

my wife is from Pomona and used to see Mosley all the time. She said she would see him coming out of target with like 10 bags of chips and crap like that or mcdonalds when he had a fight coming up. She said she yelled "aren't you supposed to be in training" and he just laughed and got in his car.

I had totally forgot about all the baseball players I had met. I guess cause I don't care about baseball as much now that the dodgers suck.

I met Vin Scully outside of Petco Park. Guy looks older than dirt.

I was dogged multiple times trying to get Jeff Kents autograph over multiple games over multiple years. There were a bunch of fans outside petco park and I didn't even bother at first cause he dissed some asian tourists saying they came from Japan to see him play which was kinda funny at the time since he is a reputed a-hole. I asked him as he was walking by and he turned his head away from me so I pretty much gave up and turned back and said "yeah man, you have anything to sign it with?" So I got an autographed ball by him. He'd also thrown one of his batting gloves up above the dugout after bp one time and I caught it. I feel like a groupie for telling this story but I used to love baseball.

I met Jayson Werth a couple of times. He's always been mad cool and I thought he would have a breakout year, then he got hurt and missed the next two years and went to the phillies and he had the type of year I thought he would have when he got there.

I got Beltre's autograph when he was hopped up on roids and hit 48 home runs but wasn't thinking and had Shawn green sign the same ball. that was dumb.

Met Jose Lima. He was mad cool and talked to everyone and signed autographs forever before the game.

I got Mark McGwire's autograph in the season he hit 70 home runs. I literally only had the clothes on my back and a ticket stub for the game for him to sign so I got the ticket stub signed. My friend followed him everywhere he was signing to try and get his autographed jersey signed and got dissed. We were actually in a sports illustrated picture that day of him signing autographs. Afterwards, my friend was like man, f' him, he wouldn't sign it and I said, yeah, he only signed my ticket stub all disappointed. My friend was pissed that I even got that. I still have that in a frame though it's probably not worth anything.

I met Matt Kemp, Andre Ethier, Jonathon Broxton, Derek Lowe in 2005 I think it was and got autographed baseballs.

Talked with Fernando Valenzuela a little bit and he signed a couple baseballs for us.

Rollie Fingers and got his autograph.

Ran into Brad Penny outside Petco. I was the only fan there where he was walking. I said hey brad, can I get an autograph and he said "naaaah broooo, I'm running soooo late. I'll get you one inside." Sure enough, I saw him in the stadium and he totally ignored me even though we made eye contact.

Chris you've met a lot of people, you sure you're not schitzo?
I actually just realized that when I posted that last one. that's easily 30+ people I've met. I have pictures of almost all of those people I've met or at least memorabilia from it. The only ones I don't have pics of anymore are the WWF people I've met and the baseball players. I just got stuff autographed by the baseball players I've met.

Me too. I'll be damned if I could find it though.:(
We brought our gloves to the game cause we were playing catch before the game started. My homeboy had my glove in his hand and I got my autograph and was checkin it out. I turn around and he's like "I GOT IT SIGNED!!!" So I look at what he's talking about and he got my softball glove signed. WTH?!

She was really nice...I saw her at a little store in SF and said hi, and she said she was going to be at The Crazy Horse that night, so me and a friend went. She did her show and recognized me and rubbed the tiddies and pussu in my face, lol...Later she was in the little room thing signing autographs and shit, I was walking back from the bathroom past the door and I hear "OW! GOD DAMN IT!" and this little dude ran out of the room into me and fell down, the body gaurd came around the corner and saw me standing over dude and was like "Good job, bro" Lol. Then says to go in, I asked her what happened and she says she bent over to pick something up and dude grabbed her and she bumped her head on the table, so she thought I was the big hero, lol, she signed some some pictures for me and stuff, she was real nice.

...cool story, bruh...
