Let's see...
There was this one time a few years ago where I posted some shit on the Sicc that got the attention of Travis O'Guin(owner of Strange Music). Of course, what I said got twisted around and I ended up getting a lot of people heated and that led to me meeting Tech N9ne for the first time.
I was nervous because he's always been my favorite emcee and the thought of pissing off him and his label mates worried me. I get a phone call on the way to a show from a promo buddy of mine and the first thing he says when I answer is "Tech wants to talk to you."
Needless to say, he wanted to hang out with me and apologize for all the confusion. I listened to his newest material at the time, his album KILLER, a few months before its national release and hung out for three or four hours. We've been friends since that incident.
My list of "celeb's"
Slaughterhouse - These guys are so different from each other, it's hard to believe they can even work together long enough to make an album.
Joell Ortiz thinks he's the biggest man in the room. And not knocking him, he is a big guy, but 6 feet and 240 pounds isn't that uncommon. He walked like a peacock.
Royce is humble and keeps to himself, but was nice to all the people coming up to him asking for autographs.
Crooked I was a real nice due and hooked my radio buddy up with an interview for his show.
Joe Budden... he reminds me of my asshole brother. This dude was stuffed way down in this oversized hoody walking past people asking for his autograph like they didn't exist.
Potluck(1ton and Underrated) were hit or miss. I've met them on two occasions, and the little short one Underrated was a dick both times. He started bitching about taking pictures with fans and I asked him why he ever became a rap star if he didn't want to snap photos and let people rub elbows with him. He seemed better off working behind a desk somewhere.
1ton was cool enough the first time, but he was on some funk the other time I saw him. IDK, I don't even listen to their music anyway, so I didn't sweat it.
I hopped off a tour bus and fell face first onto the ground. I already had a migraine and was gonna go get some food and tylenol since the bitch on the bus "only had hard stuff" in her purse. Needless to say, I was in much pain and this dude with a La Coka Nostra t-shirt picked me up off the ground and made sure I was ok and gave me a bottle of water.
I was fucking sick and didn't pay attention to who it was, but I thanked him and went on my way. Later in the night, I see Paul Wall standing around a venue and I go up and talk to him. A minute or two into the conversation, he asks me if the water he gave me earlier helped with my headache. lol
I've met more, but I can't remember right now.
