Vazquez/Marquez I,II, and III are considered instant classics. Many consider it the best trilogy of all time. If you like wars, i.e non-stop action no defense, doesn't get any better then that right there.

It all depends on what you like though.

That's all fine, then; Roy was a great fighter, IMO, but was never one of my favorites; I was always into brawlers and fighters, too, ie. Erik Morales, Diego Corrales, Julio Cesar Chavez, Juan Manuel Marquez, Marvin Hagler, but I did like more technical fighters, too, with Winky Wright being one of my all-time favorites.

Wish he'd hurry up and fight, though...
koo koo weres winky been!he disapered lol.

Who did Roy Jones dodge? Please, list the names so we can take a look.

James Toney - 44-0 when Jones beat him. Toney's worst loss of his career and even got knocked down.
Bernard Hopkins - 22-1 when Jones beat him. Hopkins was a bit green but it was the only time in Hopkins career where he clearly lost. His losses against Taylor and Calzaghe were very close, split decision losses. Hopkins believes he won all three. However his only defeat in which he admits to losing is against Roy Jones. That says somethin. Here are a few others he beat:
Mike McCallum - 49-3
Montell Griffin - 26-0
Virgil Hill - 43-2
Julio Cesar Gonzalez - 27-0
Glen Kelly - 28-0
Clinton Woods - 32-1
John Ruiz - 38-4 (heavyweight!)

And the funny thing is he made all of these look bad, in exception to Hopkins.

He beat everyone available to him that was willing to fight. Roy Jones was 49-0 before he legitimately lost a fight. And that was after going to HEAVYWEIGHT, beating Ruiz for a HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP belt, then going back down and losing all that weight in which he got KO'd by Tarver.

Roy's biggest mistakes were 1). Going up to heavyweight then back down too quickly and 2). Getting old.

Think about it - Jones was 49-0 and 34-35 years old by the time he got KO'd. That's impressive. And he won titles in middlweight, supermiddleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight. No one has done that before, ever. He beat all the names availible. He didn't duck anyone.

Even Calzaghe said, years ago, that the only man he was scared to fight was Roy Jones. Of course he waits until Jones is 40 years old and way past his prime to fight him. Calzaghe also said Jones was the best fighter of the 1990's! Yes, the 90's, not 2008!

I'm not even a big roy jones fan, but I at least recognize he was one of the most talented fighters the sport has ever seen. Yeah he's looked like shit the last few years because he's got hardly anything left. All he has is hand speed, he doesn't have the cat-like reflexes he once had, which is why he does that shell defense and just allows people to hit him. He never fought like that when he was younger.
Come om dog u dont have to sell me! I aint big on Jones like most! He was good but he aint a alltime great in my eyes!! Alot of those guys he beat werent all that to me either!! And who cares who Calzaghe says was the best in the 90's, he has an opinion like the rest of us!!! It is what it is!! Got Em!!

@ 2-0 .. I'm surprised you haven't said anything about the Augustus/Figueroa decision.
Cuz I'm still pissed off!! I just don't understand why he cant catch a break. He clearly won that fight.

I was a bit disappointed that he didn't be all drunken master and he's clearly past his prime, but still he won the fight easy. everyone knows that.
