LOL aight dogg, I now know I MUST split the rent 3 ways, but being the person that I am, I'll convince her to split to be 30/30/40 and not 3 ways (33/33/33) just because she occupies more space than both of us. We are paying for space in the first place so why shouldn't space matter? Man the words and sentences are at the tip of my mouth but I can't SPIT IT OUT for y'all to clearly understand the situation and my perception. Until then I know the rent must be split 33/33/33, I think if we was in court and I pleaded my case I would win lol. My lady and I are NOT roommates, we're couples but her friend IS a roommate but also a friend.
I agree with u mean mugg, but i think you should make it more like 600/400. You ARE paying for rooms primarily, and especially if utilities are included in that 1000.
if 2 people (u and your girl) are sharing a bathroom, you take that into consideration. If you make a deal that she gets the other bathroom and ya'll dont use it that is. She would have a hard time finding a room for 400 anywhere else anyways.

mugg, i aint read all the replies...but theres ethics in splitting rooms and splitting it between 3 people evenly is the ethical thing....i done had so many roommates it aint even funny, and the best thing to always do is whats eve for everybody....Kryps right man....when i had my townhouse rooms for rent thats the way i ran it and that was fair...for real dogg...take it from me man i been doin this since i was like 15 dogg....no lie.

i give up...do what you feel is right...theres other politics in your situation i dont want to touch...but if there 3 people, 2 rooms....then its 50/50...and if theres a 3rd person not chipping in, they better start or someone better just take they share of the cake and eat it if that makes sense....2 rooms @ $1000 for the place = 500 each room...you could have 2 people or two hundredliving there, as long as the room collect $500 at rent time.

Baygiants, I intend to split it 60% and 40%, thanks for you opinion. Dana knows where I'm comin' from!!! That's what I'm sayin' she gettin a good deal for $400 for her own room plus her own bathroom but of course guests'll use that too. Initially I believe her friend thinks it was always by rooms because she knows the both of us and I think she's treating us as one person when it comes to rent and I THINK I heard my lady say yeah she thinks the split is 50/50. BUT, her moms is gonna be payin' for her rent and last night her mom said is the rent going to be split 3 ways, asking my lady, my lady didn't respond lol. As I made this thread and the quick feedback I got from Kryptic, my lady changed her mind and thinks it should go 3 ways...Musty, you're a real good dude man, I hope someone will take you in as a roomy I know I would, for entertainment purposes mostly lol but naw, I know you a good dude eventhough you're a druggy w/hella guns lol.

I ain't trippin' none if that happens I'm sure we can all still live under one roof while she moves in w/her buddy but I don't see us breakin up anytime soon, matter of fact I don't think we gonna be breakin up at all. We met almost 3 years ago, and after 3 weeks I had her move in with me and everythings been real cool. Of course there were lotsa fights but no breaks up, none of that off and on shit once it's off, it's off.

I'll be on my toes pimpin', I'm already thinkin' of bad situations and what I need to do to put them situations in check.
