Fresno State just got eliminated the other night.

i kid from our local HS got a D1 Full Ride to Fresno State at SS and will be going there next year depending on where he gets drafted.

if drafted high enough he could go to a JC or straight to Pros

This is my favorite time of the year. I'll take CWS over any other tourney in sports.

The Owls, who remain in the top spot for the fifth consecutive week, have won 32 of their last 34 games and did not lose a weekend series all year.

Mississippi made the biggest jump of the week, climbing 10 spots to No. 7 after breezing unblemished through the Southeastern Conference tournament. Nebraska re-entered the top 10 with a strong second-place showing in the Big 12 tournament. The Cornhuskers jumped six spots to No. 9.

North Carolina and Oklahoma State plunged seven and eight spots, respectively, after going winless in their conference tourneys. The Tar Heels fell out of the top five for the first time since March 27 and out of the top 10 for the first time all year, landing at No. 11. The Cowboys dropped to 20th.

Kansas won the Big 12 tournament to break back into the top 25 after an eight-week hiatus. College of Charleston won the Southern Conference tournament to rejoin the rankings after a one-week absence.

North Carolina is my sleeper right now. That ace + their 3 hitter could mean an upset in every round.
And how fucking insane is that pitcher Cal St Fullerton has? I think in the regular season he had 122 Ks and 4 walks..... Seriously ...................

Dropped Out: None.

DURHAM, N.C.--The top four teams remained unchanged in Baseball America's weekly Top 25 college baseball rankings, as each won their respective super-regional. No. 1 Rice, atop the rankings for the seventh consecutive week, was the lone top four team to lose a super-regional game, but has now won 37 of their last 40 games.

North Carolina reentered the top five with a sweep of Alabama, which slides to No. 10 in this week's rankings. The Tar Heels will be making their first appearance in Omaha since 1989 with the series victory. Georgia Tech was the only other school to sweep its super-regional, moving up to No. 7, returning to the College World Series for the third time.

The week's biggest jump belongs to Miami, which went from unranked two weeks ago to No. 8 this week. The Hurricanes upset Mississippi in three games, ending the Rebels season and dropping the school to No. 11 in the rankings.

Several other teams moved up despite super-regional losses, including No. 9 Oklahoma, No. 13 South Carolina, and No. 17 Oral Roberts. The Sooners fell to Rice, but not before beating the Owls and extending the series to a third game. South Carolina did the same to Georgia, but the Bulldogs' Monday victory pushed them to No. 6. Oral Roberts had leads in both losses to Clemson, proving they belonged this late in the postseason.

The staff of Baseball America determines the Top 25 rankings. Records indicated are through games of June 5 and do not include ties.

most of the best players in College Baseball are underclassmen.

only seniors that dont get drafted stick around for their last year. so many of those "returning" juniors and draft eligible sophmores probly wont be returning

only 1 Senior on the Baseball America All-American 1st Team
only 4 out of 16 players on the 2nd Team
none of the 3rd Team
