you sound like a hater ..the nigga 2pac had a bullet wound on his chest n put a tattoo over it ..i would find a picture but im not gonna waste my time ..
Nah, I'm not a hater. I have all his albums. I just don't believe everything I hear, even if it's from one of my favorite rappers.

@bout 2pac having a bullet wound on his chest, when he was at Luke's Peep Show getting interviewed, he said himself, that not a single bullet passed through his chest or stomach. It's on youtube if you want to check it out.

2pac is a ballerina.....he somehow gets a pass for that on every gangster website on the net....

face it....music is an artform and doesnt need to be reality...99 percent of the time it isnt...as more and more of these rappers get "exposed" the more and more you super thugs wont be able to listen to some quality music....

no one is asking you to like the dude....but to clown on somebody that does....for circumstances they have nothing to do with is childish

Point is, you have to be a lame if you expect for rappers to live what they rap about. And actually, it's stupid to expect that. They rap the songs and get rich, while the stupid ass listeners try to live the lyrics. I just don't understand where some of you are coming from with this. Like I said earlier, I don't look at the rap game any differently than I look at the movie industry.

Some of you are hypocrites. When a rapper get locked up for doing the things he talks about doing in his songs, yall say that he's stupid. You say that he has too much money and popularity to be doing those things. But when a dude doesn't live that way, like in this case, yall call him a fraud. Make up yall's minds.
Because rap is one of the few, if not ONLY genre's of music, where these musicians most likely comitted crimes before they picked up a mic (obviously, not every reality rapper). So they are telling a story...THEIR STORY...not portraying somoene else and telling someone ELSES story...like an actor.

Whether CO or not... i don't see how anyone could have taken Ross' lyrics serious in the first place...

I've always just taken it as entertainment...

i remember one line he said, i think it was in that "boss" song with T-Pain... "i made a million dollars last year pushin weight"...

everybody knows if you're really pushin weight your not gonna broadcast the shit to the world...

c'mon now..

The movie CB4 already gave people the low-down about how the music industry works. People saw the movie as only a comedy, but the movie was telling the truth. Before anyone decides to worship these rappers for being the lowlives they rap about, they need to watch CB4 to get a reminder of how the music industry really is.

This album's gonna be CLASSIC.

And for all who aren't gonna buy it because of some CO controversy...the fact is that about 90% of all mainstream/local/underground rappers fabricate their histories (if they'd have actually done a lot of this stuff, they'd be dead or locked up and never gotten to rap). Ross stands out from the rest because he actually makes quality, laid-back, classic-vibed music from that (most of them nowadays are from his current rich lifestyle). On top of that, 50 Cent is a big nobody now, so that's not affecting my decision.

will be buying this Quality album just like i did his last two Quality releases.

Me too, it's already an instant cop..I like how you touched on the fact that he maked classic-vibed music cuz it's very true. The last half of Trilla you could sit and relax on a hot summer day sippin on some pina coladas or somethin....It's almost a throwback to the 70s or somethin...

plus his latest track "i really want" w/ the dream is tight. sounds like a big radio/tv hit written all over it. all the ppl sayin its wack do your homework and check that he sampled and re-did an 80's POP CLASSIC "Love Come Down." i give him props for that song because i was a fan of the original track and he did the song justice for the 2009rap crowd. ross knows his music and pays homage to the classics before him.

Wow...

I dunno what all these other retards are babblin' about Ross being a fraud, but all them leaked tracks I heard sound pretty tight. I mean, who really cares who he was or who he isn't. Worry about yourself.

It's one thing to say you listened to the music and wasn't feelin' it, but it's another thing when you shittin' on the man, because your favorite rapper 50 Cent said he was a fraud or a CO (verified or not)...

Big...Fuckin...Deal.... Them tracks are knockin' man!

PS - By the way, that link for that Rich Off Cocaine wasn't working me....

Youre basing the whole music industry...on a crappy comedy that came out 15 years ago? Please tell me you are joking.

The FACT is, not EVERY rapper is some fraudulent asshole who wants to get rich off of someone elses fame. If YOU think that, then you must be niave as FUCK. I HATE to brag and NEVER like to bring this up, but i KNOW rap artists that are TRUE to what they say...evne more than you and anyone would like to admit. And yes, they are WORLWIDE known artists.

Rap is the ONLY genre where this so called "acting" exists. Sure, some rock acts have worn make-up and done thratrical style perfomrances (Gwar), but we are talking about a genre of music that appeals to inner cit youth and to an extent, is an EXTENSTION of their surroundings. If you can NOT see why it is somewhat important for a rap artist to 'keep it real", then maybe you have been out of the hood for too long, or have NEVER been there. Either way, it is what it is.

So, you guys can buy this cats albums ALL YOU WANT...i dont give a shit and i also dont gie a shit if you think people DONT support a fake ass artist either...it doesnt affect me. In all honesty, I DONT GIVE A SHIT...Rick Ross is just a TERRIBLE rapper. Period. However, unlike you and some others, I UNDERSTAND why fans of his are turnign their back on him. This aint a movie, this is MUSIC. Do NOT make them synanomous.
