Rick Ross has the highest selling album in the country this week with his sophomore set Trilla, which scanned just under 199,000 copies and will land at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. Powered by his T-Pain assisted single “Boss,” the Carol City native managed to outsell the latest installment in the notoriously popular NOW That’s What I Call Music compilation series by nearly 20,000 units. Next up we have Snoop Dogg’s latest project, Ego Trippin. With help from his smash single “Sensual Seduction,” the Doggfather moved nearly 137,000 and will take the No. 3 spot. Rounding out last week’s rap debuts is Fat Joe with his eighth solo album, The Elephant in the Room, which moved about 46,200 discs and will land at No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200.

SNOOP DOESNT KNOW WHAT ELSE THE FUCK TO DO... HES DONE GANGSTA, DIRTY SOUTH... WHAT ELSE IS THERE??? I GUESS "SEXUAL ERUPTION" IS THE ANSWER TO MY QUESTION, BUT I THINK THAT SONG IS STRAIGHT TRASH... HIS SALES WILL NEVER REACH THE NUMBERS FROM HIS HEYDAY...

oh and about snoop i really don't think he gives a fuck about sales at this point. he's made his money, sold hella albums, he has his fans regardless of whether they buy this album or not...he's all good. he's just doin him at this point in his career and having fun with it.

Agreed. Just wish he'd be doin him and havin fun with it along with some better beats. Anything past Top Dogg has been trash production wise.

Agreed!! I always thought I was the only one who appreciated Tha Doggfather. That album was so fucking smooth. Beats, delivery, lyrics... it was put together really well. I can play it all the way through without skipping a track. But the style and production was so different from Doggystyle that people were quick to reject it. I still bump it to this day.
