Did yall notice that the charaters in the movie weren't wearing SF giants gear.. i was trippin off dude wearing "Oakland" jerseys in HP.. I guess they couldn't get permission to use SF Giants gear or some shit in the movie.. coz every where you go out here it's black and orange and SF all over the foreheads of fools around the city.

Sucka Free city was probably the WORST portrayal of life in San Francisco I have ever scene. For all the hype and build up it got from Showtime, Spike Lee, the SF Chronicle, etc it relied on racial stereotypes like the ignorant helpless white family, the sophisticated asian mobsters and poor black gangsters. Like Bailey said "its the area man...the realest unique place in America man..." he was talking about the whole Bay but those of you from San Francisco know thats fits the city right. But instead Spike Lee and the dude from SF who wrote the script rely on the same bullshit in every hood script. So much for the creativty and originally we say comes from the Bay Area.

What you see in this movie has NOTHING to do with San Francisco. Like someone said, NO ONE is even wearing Giants gear. There are no good shots of the neighborhoods, the music was horrible and the main white boy character talks like he's from New York.

Copies of this movie should be burnt. The SFC make the bay look worse than Kobe Soz.
Edit: maybe not that bad.

yall are fuckin trippin. that was a tight ass movie, shit even san quinn and jt the bigga figga were in it. how much more frisco dose it got to be, and so what if no one was wering giants shit, i seen people werin san francisco warriors shit, and i thought it was right on on how they portrayed life in frisco, and most hood movies are sterotypes by the way but they are real life too, only the white dude from the mission was wack, the mission got way to much history and culture and only got like 3 minutes in the entire movie, this shit is mostly about hunters point and chinatown and the gangs in there, V-dubs im guessing is big block and the point mob is probly west mob in the movie, and yall sayin it aint accurate cause the names aint right, shit... of course they aint gonna use the real names

That movie was whack as fuck! In all the scenes of the shipyard you could see palm trees in the background! Now where the fuck are palm trees in SF? The only place I can remember seeing palm trees is at Dolores Park & Octavia Blvd. That whit was all filmed in LA! Even the scenes of Chinatown are fake! All filmed at Paramount Studios! Fuck Spike Lee for puttin out a whack ass film that wasn't even filmed in the point or SF!

You're wrong I actually saw them filming in frisco. Some scenes were in South City the majority was in Frisco. You must not live there.

Were do u see palm trees in frisco, shit frisco got hella palm trees everywhere, lemme name 2 more places besides the ones you mentioned and im sure someone eles can name 50 more spots.anyways Up in mission street in the mission district, at the giants standium, on embarcarderro. and hella more spots, and yes they did film the movie in frisco, even san quin and jt the bigga figga is in them, i dont think they are gonna fly them out to LA for a 2 minute scene. Anyways why do u say this movie dont portary life in frisco????? I thought they got it right on for the most part except for a few minor details(but hey, its a movie, not a documentery) Anyways just cause they didnt mention your neighborhood the castro dosent mean they didnt portray life in frisco the way it is. Like the DOC said, u most not live in frisco, u probly in Marin county or some shit!!!
