Stations will sometimes speed up songs by like +3bpm so that they can fit more songs in an make more spins happen....Nothin wrong with it, but if you pay attention closely you can tell when a song has been sped up...In mixes, alot of times DJs will HAVE to mess with the tempo to get the songs to mix right

He came back to do a show with Chuy on KMEL in '97. Too bad they pulled Theo when he came back and Rosary a few years back.

My pops used to DJ @ KSOL & became Asiss. PD until they were 949.....he left cause they started playing all that gay shit. y'all probably heard me as a little kid on the radio a few times....I grew up in the KSOL station....I've known Chuey, Renee, Mancow, Super Snake shit even Mark Cooper for YEARS.

Yeah, I remember KMEL - san francisco oakland san jose and sometimes monterey bay- on a good day. The same 'Peoples Station' that never played a bay artist/s besides the usual suspects. Almost died when they played Spice 1 -circa 92. Hell, didn't even know the station was broadcasting out of frisco -could of fooled me. Never heard them play RBL, when they blew up.

Stop giving props to the same ole same ole. Hell, I dont even live in Cali no more and know not to give props to the 'Peoples station'. Also, stop going to "Summer Scam" which don't even let true bay artists perform over 30 minutes.

Support KPOO, not only by listening but by donation$$$.

man I remember CMC and how they used to play hella tight shit, like I remembred 3x Krazy-keep it on the real, hella bone thugs, shit like that. I always used to play Wild 107.7 and KMEL all the time, first radio stations I listened to bac bac in the day when they played Whooomp there it is and Onyx-Slam, shit the good ol days

actualy Rick Chase was working at KWIN over here in Stockton.but the rest is correct.he was found dead in his apt....

the 10 o'clock bomb was the ish....and that fucker Carmen wasnt no joke....
