Remedys for a Tooth Ache

wuts good for a toothache?..
...its like the very last bottom tooth ....like underneath it,in the gum area.....it like swelled up to like a lil ball under the tooth in the gum....anyone know anything on how to treat this ...i mean its the weekend and no dentist are open till monday prolly and the whole side of my face and head is throbbing...any suggestions?...
