Remedies to help you fall asleep

My sleeping cycle has been so messed up lately. I'll go to sleep at like 2-3am at night, wake up at 8am for school the next morning, then because of the lack of sleep after school i come home and crash for 2-3 hours... then of course after the long nap I can't go to sleep at night.

So what do some of you do to help you fall asleep? Any remedies? Warm glass of milk, water, etc.

PS; I don't smoke weed. So nothing drug related.

First off homie.... quit taking naps in the middle of the day. Maybe it is the foods you are eating that is helping to contribute to this, might want to get your diet in check. You could always go out to jog/run, workout at the gym or play some bball..... all these things will definitely make you tired.


Also like that other cat suggested..... Melatonin. 3mgs of that will put you to sleep. It gives you some really vivid dreams sometimes. A bottle of it only costs like $3.00 at GNC. You are only supposed to use it once in a while, I probably use it like once a month or twice a month, when I really need to get my sleeping schedule in check.

try reading, i stay up for the 10 oclock news and if i cant sleep after that, then i get the text books, either managerial accounting or math, those put me to sleep within 10 minutes, guaranteeeed!

Get rid of the naps, no energy drinks, those make you crash. Drink caffeine free soda. It tastes the same. Just dont go diet. Also look for some clips on the web of thunderstorms or rain. I found one that is like an hour long and play that shit and sleep like a baby. It trips you out though if you wake up and it actually IS raining out. lol

Thanks for all the tips.

For those who recommended gym or sports, I actually go to gym 3 times a week on a strict schedule. However because I work till about 7pm, I don't get to the gym till about 9pm, so by the time I get out and take a shower its usually 10:30 to 11. Then I like to eat a meal and drink a protein shake, in order to feed my muscles after working out (its important for muscle growth). So I usually end up feeling hyper after gym, instead of tired.

I will definatly be copping some of that tea since a lot of you recommended it and say that it really works.
